Simply Unbelievable 1965 Volkswagen Beetle SedanNew to our Pleasanton showroom is this iconic. nicely-kept 1965 Volkswagen Beetle 2 Door Sedan with white exterior paint and a beige interior. It features its factory 1200cc four-cylinder engine under the hood with a 4-speed manual transmission and this little bug is one of the nicest true survivors that you’ll ever see. It is very nicely equipped for modern highway driving as well and with the addition of a brand new stereo system; this one will make you fall in love all over again. This example has a mere 33. 85 lifetime miles on the odometer and it’s in absolute amazing condition. Driven Only 33. 85 Lifetime MilesSo how does a 51 year old VW Beetle only have 33k lifetime miles? It is a three-owner vehicle that was originally sold in the Bay Area. The current owner claims to have proof that the mileage is 100% original and that the factory motor is still installed. but we are unfortunately lacking any real information going back before he purchased it in 2014. Our best guess is that this one likely sat in storage for decades before being rediscovered sometime in the last 10-15 years. It terms of actual condition. this 1965 Volkswagen Beetle looks like a typical driver with some slight wear and tear to the exterior paint and the inside compartment. In person. it looks like a typical 6-8 year old vehicle that’s been nicely cared for. with only minor imperfections from frequent usage. The engine also starts nicely and runs great. so there’s very little downside to this incredible survivor. Looks Almost Like New Both Inside and OutOverall. this 1965 Volkswagen Beetle is a true collector’s dream ride since it is a perfect candidate for a complete restoration. Others may decide to keep it exactly how it sits today though. so it will be a very tough decision on this desirable little Bug. One thing’s for sure though; you’ll never see another one this original if you wait around too long. For more information about this vehicle. visit our Pleasanton.
