VW Splitscreen Camper Van

LOLA is a 15 Window Brazilian VW Splitscreen Campervan. UK registered in 2006 who has been lovingly restored and maintained.  I am the third owner of Lola since she was imported and have made a lifelong dream come true. spending a fantastic year travelling in the UK without problem but now I must return to work and Lola is ready for a new owner.  A left hooker (LHD) with the benefit of extra rear windows providing great visibility.   Many features including; - A new VW aircool engine fitted 2008 - MOT passed January 2013. taxed until end Aug 2013 - Independent rear suspension conversion - Propex heating system - Split charging dual battery - Polished aluminium pop-out side windows - Oak Devon-style interior from Tim Hartley at Custom. Classic & Retro - Lined curtains & rail with hem magnets from VW Camper Curtains - New larger petrol tank fitted so less refill stops - 5 seat belts fitted (Front 2 x shoulder. 1x lap). (Rear 2 x lap) - Hammock which fits across front seats - Pro-tec custom made green cover with side door access - Car bra for protecting Lola from flies! - Original stereo (not working) and original steering wheel - CD stereo & speakers fitted to front - 12V socket in front & rear - 2 ring gas camping stove stowed in fitted oak unit with gas storage below - Front screen reflector/ night cover with magnet holders - Fire extinguisher - Rear seating (storage under) & table converts to double bed - Bulkhead storage & rear drawers - Chrome front and rear bumpers. chrome VW badge - Tow bar and electrics fitted 
May 2012 I had the engine removed. all seals. hose and pipes replaced. new fan belt. gaskets. distributor cap. plugs. bushes and filters replaced.  Brakes overhauled. new larger petrol tank fitted and small lights on dashboard repaired. exhaust replaced and generally made sure that Lola was fit to travel. What needs doing? Lola is not a show van. she is regularly used so has some signs of wear however wherever she goes. she always draws comment on her great condition so I guess it is a bit subjective how much you decide to do to the paintwork.  
Coming from Brazil Lola is in pretty good shape and has been sealed underneath in the past but with a dry spell. a repeat application would not harm. There are a few paint chips. a few small bits of rust - I will photograph these. Please ask to see. I replaced all hub caps but the front passenger one is showing water rust spots whereas the rest do not - no idea why. so this could be replaced. Some might decide to lower the suspension or add alloys and side steps.
