This is an absolutely incredible VW Nova. She has been owned by a gentleman for 23 years. in which time she has on over 17 different trophies at classic car shows right across the country. These include:

She also comes with various other ribbons and memorabilia from shows where she has been exhibited across the country.

Sadly the gentleman's ill health forced him to stop exhibiting her soon after. In the ten years since she has hidden away in the garage. covering just a handful of miles to and from the MOT centre each year. She has been kept in immaculate condition. She is now looking for someone to take her back to the show scene!

A bit about her:

This is a very early vehicle. she is correctly registered as a VW Sports vehicle on her V5. She was registered in 1967. making her Historic Vehicle Tax Exempt (Free Road Tax). She is ready to drive. she comes with 12 months MOT with no advisories. She is HPI Clear. She has covered just 6. 80 miles from new and she is in immaculate condition. with very few signs of age.  

She is set in Nightfire Red against a contrasting white leather cockpit. For those who have never come across a VW Nova they were a 1970's icon. infamous for their super-car style and unique. batmobile-esque method of entering her (the Nova has no doors. Instead the roof lifts off on hydraulics to allow the driver to enter/exit the vehicle). These vehicles are now very rare to find.

She has a brand new 1600cc VW engine fitted. This drives like a dream and sounds incredible via the twin exhaust system. Everything has been maintained to a very high standard. Her gearbox does require some attention as if you did not hold her in fourth it tends to jump out. Replacement Beetle gearboxes are around £150 on Ebay.

Please note: as was the trend with all 1970's super cars the cockpit is very small. I am six foot and I only just fit in her comfortably. The seat does push back. she comes with a second steering wheel that extends and she does have a sun roof which allows more room. When not in use the sun roof is stored on the rear sun roof mount. this is located underneath the rear hood.
