Dodge M37 Truck

Im selling my Dodge M37 after having it for over 5 years its time for a change. ts a fantastic vehicle . rives great . 've just replaced the exhaust manifold as the old one cracked. this particular M37 came from the Greek Army after serving with the Americans from what i can tell. e and a friend of mine bought one each from a yard in Holland and i have restored it as it would have been in Vietnam with the 15th field Artillery. t comes complete with a working radio fitted to the seat in the back just as it would have been and the correct antenna matching unit and mount (the very hard to get one. !)
I've had the radiator professionally tested. ebuilt the brake master cylinder and replaced all the brake cylinders and brake shoes. the gauges are all original Stewart Warner I've replaced the pressure gauge the fuel gauge and the temp gauge with New Old stock ones.
It has the original wiring all in good condition. 've installed the correct original new old stock indicator system as it should be for this year of truck. nd have replaced the fuel sender and the in tank fuel filter. nd have also fitted an in line fuel filter at the carb.
I will list below all the other items I've replaced if i can fit it all in. !
Shackles Chains and pins. Headlights. orrect sealed beam. New bridge plate. New Carburettor . Replaced the Radiator houses and installed with correct clips. Thermostat. eplaced. Points cap and rotor arm replaced yearly. Shock absorber rubbers replaced. Larger mirrors. o you can see behind properly. Wheels have been taken apart and sand blasted then new tubes and flaps have been installed. Fan belt replaced. New cab canvas and seat covers shipped over from New Life Canvas in the States. ot cheap. but very good. No expense spared. Seats are original and are sprung and have been repainted . ery comfortable. The rear canvas i picked up at a show in the States and is original. nd will last for a very long time. also fitted leather side straps so you can roll the side canvas up. Brake return spring is N. O. S. and was missing. Starter push button was replaced with a N. O. S one and a new button rubber fitted. Battery to starter cable was replaced with one from Mid West Military. An original Battery to rear bed cable was installed so you can  power the radio correctly. lso bed to radio tray cable fitted. All windscreen rubber replaced around the windows and under the frame to body. Throttle and choke cables replaced with originals. Fitted a N. O. S Steering wheel out of the crate. and fitted the horn button rebuild kit. Cab vent seal replaced. N. O. S Door seals fitted and the lower cab door seal as well. Passenger door lock mechanism replaced. Door window channel glass runners replaced front and rear left and right. Door glass weather seals replaced Hand brake draft pad replaced. inside door handles replaced. Rear bed reflectors replaced . ed + amber. Cargo bed passenger safety strap installed. All rear bed top bow wood replaced with original ones sent over from the States from Vintage Dodge. All wheel hub seals replaced. nd all wheel bearings repacked with grease. Rear axle input pinion seal replaced. Hand brake output shaft seal replaced. Engine water distribution tube replaced. Most of the exhaust has been replaced with original exhaust pipes including the silencer. nd the rubber hanging brackets. own pipes end and tail. Drag link repair kits have been used so all new springs are fitted and greased. All the tyres were new when i bought it and have minor use to them. hey are Good Year originals apart from the spare . Ive taken the battery box out and repainted it all so its as good as new. comes complete with the battery clamp. and lid. so its complete. The front right wing was replaced from another truck. s mine was dented. Both of the front windscreen glass has been replaced with original N. O. S.
The underside of the cargo bed and cab are like new. he underside of the engine is a bit dirty and could do with a clean but i haven't got round to doing that yet. Overall a great truck. aving gone down the list I realise how much time and money I've spent on it. 'm not sure i want to sell it now. anyway if you buy this truck you won't be disappointed . etter act fast as i might change my mind. !
The truck comes with no warranty. its old i can't guarantee any part of it. xles and engine haven't been rebuilt. o be ware. the only problems I've had so far are the radiator cap leaking. after market caps are useless . spent hours repainting the engine bay. ive now put the old cap back on and doesn't seem to leak at all. !The exhaust manifold cracked so thats been done. nd the seals on the gear box and rear axle and thats been done too.
Im looking to replace it with the 1940 Dodge command car. ither the early version 1941 or the later one.  don't mind taking on one that needs rebuilding. ! so would consider part ex-ing for one.
