1988 SAAB 900 Aero Turbo Classic 16-Valve in cherry red / camel combo

Rare and authentic Carlsson 16" rims with near new Bridgestone Potenza low profile tyres (plus full size new Potenza spare). In amazing condition for its near 30 year age. Engine and turbo work perfectly. Paintwork is almost pristine. Fully serviced in the last year. Also fitted a new crank seal. oil pressure switch and battery last year.
Custom grille (you can always revert to the original if you don't like it!). upgraded clear front and side indicators (same goes). otherwise everything else is original Stereo is the original Alpine 'Aero' surround unit with equaliser. Will also supply a spare equaliser and amp (both genuine SAAB Alpine systems) with the car. No aftermarket head unit fitted. everything is original.
Inside: leather is camel (tan). in excellent condition with some minimal wear to the drivers seat. Electric windows. mirrors. sunroof all working. No leaks. Comes with original manuals. papers and full service history. Reason for the sale is honest - I have no storage room in the new house and I need to direct my energy towards other projects in life. Also selling a Viggen for the same reason.
Roadworthy and registered in the ACT until October 2016. Will supply certificate of roadworthiness for ACT buyers. Just sit in and drive it home. This car is a lot of fun to drive and always turns heads. Very rare in this colour combination. The car suits somebody who will love it and continue caring for it. I would fix the roof lining. put brighter speedo lights and reconnect the radio (not big jobs). Mechanically the car is running perfectly and is not being sold due to a defect or any other sinister reason. The photos are all recent and have not been edited/adjusted or enhanced in any way.
