These cars are fast becoming hard to find. and in this condition near impossible.
Only 3 previous owners (one of which being a dealership). and very little use. have preserved this fantastic example.


History:
A very nice and comprehensive history file is with this vehicle. showing just how much this car has been cherished over the years.

All original booklets are present. in ‘as new' condition. and in the original Vauxhall binder.
Original GSi brochure
All MOT's from new. warranting the very low mileage.
Fully stamped service book including the original PDI.
Lots of invoices/receipts are also present. including the receipt for the brand new Koni adjustable suspension.
Invoices for the Vauxhall fitted CD player. and also the Vauxhall fitted headrests.

A trophy is also present for ‘Best Original Car' from MK3 owners club at VBOA Billing show 2015.


Body & Paintwork:
If you are familiar with these cars. you will know that they can be prone to corrosion. especially around the rear arches and sills.

This example is simply corrosion free throughout.
The rear arches are perfectly shaped. with the spot welds between inner and outer arches still being visible.
The inner arches have no signs of any corrosion whatsoever and are quite unbelievable.
Sills are just the same. shaped as per factory without any corrosion at all.

A great shine to the paintwork. which is thanks to a recent full professional detail. which has really highlighted just how good and original the paintwork is.


Zero dents on the car. and unlike many of these cars. all the glass (including the front door windows) is scratch free.

The wheels are also original. and in fantastic condition. having never been painted or re-furbished.
The spare is unused and still has the original protection wax from factory.


Interior & Trim:
As you would expect. the interior is in superb condition throughout.

Original floor mats are still present. and in great condition.
Both seats have perfect bolsters. totally solid with no visible wear at all.

Rear seats have had headrests professionally fitted by Vauxhall. with brand new backing plates from Vauxhall also.
This transforms the rear seats and they really should of come from factory like this.

A Vauxhall CD player was also fitted by Vauxhall. with a receipt to prove (Original Vauxhall cassette player is with the vehicle).
The multi function display works with the Vauxhall fitted CD player as per factory.

All gauges and dials work perfectly. and illuminate just as they should do.

All door cards are solid and have not lost any shape at all (a common problem with these vehicles).
Brand new genuine gear lever and handbrake lever surrounds have been fitted. these were sourced and shipped direct from Germany at great cost.

A truly fantastic example of a fast appreciating Astra GSi.


Engine:
The legendary C20XE engine.

Completely un-modified and original. this must be one of only a few left in this state.
With only 44. 00 miles. and regular servicing. the engine is whisper quiet even from cold.

Still a fantastic engine today. and healthy performance is on tap with this car.
Surprisingly good performance from a standard 90′s hot hatch. it can still impress today.

Benefiting from a very recent service prior to sale. which included the below: (All genuine parts).

Battery
Oil & Oil Filter
Cambelt & tensioner/pulleys
Fuel filter
Spark plugs
Brake fluid flush
Coolant flush

The gearbox is silky smooth. with a precise gear change both when changing up and down.
The car is an absolute pleasure to drive. it drives like a new car.


Running Gear:
We have many pictures of the underside of this vehicle. all of which show the fantastic and original condition.
Never had any welding of any type. the underside is like it just left the factory.

All running gear is also in fantastic order. with no unwanted noises from lower balljoints. or top mounts as is so common on these GSi's.

It drives like a new car.
As mentioned. the car is fitted with Koni Adjustable suspension. this was done by the previous owner to improve the handling of the car. as the GSi's weak spot was always the original suspension.

The original suspension (which is still in fantastic order) is present. so the car can be fully returned standard if desired.

The Koni suspension is the only modification. even the exhaust is the original. still with the stickers in place.
