EXTERIOR
The period Bertone styling is synonymous with raked angles and clean lines; epitomised by the Dino GT4. The Rosso paintwork presents very well with a deep and glossy finish that pops wonderfully well under both studio and natural light. The bright work retains good fit and finish whilst encompassing a beautifully judged A to C pillar window arrangement before funneling into the air scoop for the engine. The front end of the car remains remarkably clean with only a dusting of stone chips to report whilst pop up and fog lights remain crack and moisture free.

INTERIOR
Fit and finish of this GT4 has stood the test of time and aged remarkably well with a combination of fastidious ownership and careful upkeep. The typical Italian leather smell and patina maintains a strong and lasting presence with dash top and leather door cards retaining a smooth and soft texture. The seats maintain good structure and support showing excellent integrity with no fraying of tears whilst the headlining is taught with no holes or marks. The magnificent period Veglia dials proudly display the Dino name. whilst the chassis stamp remains pride of place atop of the steering boss. Originality is key here with even the factory Pioneer stereo still in place.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This GT4 has had a fully documented and photo-logged engine. gearbox and suspension overhaul and as such performs beautifully. Start up evokes all kinds of Ferrari V8 history and pulling across and down on the dogleg gearbox is smooth and clean; with all syncros replaced the ‘box is a joy to use. No expense has been spared and having been subject to an open cheque book exercise with Superformance this Dino has been future proofed for many years to come.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The racier period split rim Compomotive wheels sit just right on this Dino. presenting with a lovely unmarked finish wrapped in good Pirelli rubber. Like the drivetrain and suspension componentry the brakes have had regular maintenance and perform well. pulling the car up quickly and in a straight line.

HISTORY FILE
The history file is one of the most comprehensive that we have seen here at Fast Classics. An A5 owner booklet supports periodic maintenance from 1988 with a plethora of supporting invoices and paperwork. The decision to rebuild the engine is annotated by a substantial collection of reports and diagrams within the booklet. with further photographs and invoices of engine and gearbox rebuilds. MOT certification from 1986 backs up the mileage alongside a fully stamped service book with details of the first owner. The original drivers manual. service book and unique prancing horse folder are also present.
