1958 Fiat Abarth 750 Derivazione Berlina (Convertible Coupe) race car.   You can race on the track and drive home on the road.   Very rare first generation Abarth car restored in 2002.   The over $14. 00 restoration (receipts included with this sale – 1. 5 inches thick) was prepared for vintage racing based on included records:

The car enjoyed a recent tune up (new battery. fresh fuel. flushed cooling system. installed a rebuilt radiator). car starts right up. runs. and is located in Kona. Hawaii.   The Hawaii plate is in “storage” with the DMV; no back taxes. Hawaii safety expired. and Hawaii registration expires in May 2015.   The Fiat Abarth comes with its original California “black” license plate (as seen in photos); however. you will have to work with the California DMV if you intend to use.

History

From 1956-1959. Abarth & Co. . led by Carlos Abarth. tuned-up the standard Fiat 600 into a 750 GT Derivazione (747cc engine).   The resulting modifications increased power from 21. 5 to 40 H. P.   The additional reliable performance allowed Fiat Abarth's to claim numerous victories. class speed records. and commercial success.   This car finished restoration in 2002 by the late Michael Dunsford of Vashon Island. WA.  In 2002. the car was purchased. raced in SCCA autocross. and garaged kept by a long-time Fiat enthusiast from Waimea. Hawaii.   Present owner is selling the car due to relocation considerations with career.
