Up for sale is my survivor 1965 VW  11 window bus with the walk through.  bought new at Bill Yates VW in San Juan Capistrano CA. and has been here ever sense. it still retains it original California black and yellow license plates from 1965. The bus is in good solid condition with  original paint showing some great patina. it is 95% rust free. there is a small patch panel on the drivers side front floor that is covering some very minor rust. and a couple patch panels done years ago on the floor just inside the double doors and behind the front seats.  the rust was very minimal and I have pictures underneath showing what was covered up. The body has small dents and a couple scrapes.  (please look closely at pictures and I have more close up pics I can send)  the front sheet metal is very good condition and so is the rear corners. all 11 windows are pop outs. Both front windshields  and seals have been replaced all other glass is original.  the interior is original and showing some wear and tear. front seats and back seats have been redone in the correct material. the dash is in  good original condition.  the bus has been changed to 12 volt.  windshield wipers are still 6 volt and not working. headlights and tail lights work but turn signals don't  blink may just be the flasher. 4. 00 miles ago the motor was rebuilt.  it  is a pro built 1776  with a single carb and changed to an alternator. the transmission was rebuilt at the same time. along with new complete brake job. (new hubs. heel cylinders. hoes. master cylinder and soft bake lines). new shocks. ires and a rebuilt steering box.   The bus runs extremely strong and drives very well  and stops good.  This is a good unmolested survivor bus ready to drive and enjoy. I like the original paint survivor look  and would not even think of repainting it. remember their  only original once. I have described the bus the best I can but please feel free to ask questions.
