Plymouth : Other P-4 SEDAN

1937 PLYMOUTH P-4. SURVIVOR. 27. 00 ORIGINAL MILES*

This 1937 Plymouth is a documented original low mile car.

It was purchased new in Hiawatha. Kansas by Mr. & Mrs. Jaiser. The car was driven for approx. 4 years until such time Mr. Jaiser died. The car was put up on blocks in the garage until Mrs. Lydia Jaiser died in 1963. It is believed both the Jaiser sons died in WWII. The estate sold the car in 1964 and ended up with Mr. Harold Newman of Holton. Kansas who drove the car. and then put it up on blocks in his barn until1974. At this time the car had only 17. 38 original miles. Mr. Darryl Stadel purchased the car in 1974and owned it for 25 years.

This Plymouth sedan drives exactly as good as it did in 1937…

The motor is smooth and quiet. 50 lbs. oil pressure. does not smoke.

The undercarriage is all original. tight and unmolested.

The only rust on the car was a very small corner of the battery box most likely from battery acid.

The interior is 100% original. and the driver side seat springs are not sunken.

The car was updated to an 8 volt system. may have been done sometime in the early years. New battery replaced just 2 weeks ago. and the original generator works excellent.

Radiator. hoses. heater core. headlamps. fog lamps and interior lights all work well. Fresh tune up and oil change with all the proper additives.

A set of five new bias ply tires with nitrogen filled tubes were installed approx. 700 miles ago.

The car was stripped to metal and refinished some 40 years ago. A few paint repairs were done approx. 25 years ago. The car has a few small dings. minor chips and scratches. the paint is not checkered. and there are some low spots on the trunk lid… Nice patina.

This 1937 Plymouth is as good and original as it gets…

Absolutely hate to sell the car. but have to pay for my daughter's college.

The car needs absolutely nothing to enjoy and drive for several miles to come.

I would not hesitate to drive this car all the way across the United States.

This car is too pristine in its original state. and should never be made into a hot rod or rat rod. or change the electrical system. NOT THIS ONE !
