 Buy a true piece of American history- One of the great American Touring Cars. The 1950 Willys Phaeton Convertible in Factory color scheme of clear maple and black. This is not a project car - it is a get in and drive ready to be the Belle of the Ball . Less than ten miles since restoration was completed.

This is a no reserve auction. Car is being sold  as part of an estate liquidation before the owner becomes an estate and tax man gets it. Will drive it to crusher before that happens.

By Hagerty's Price Guide this is a Number Two car .   It is priced at the lower end of the scale. This car is number 1335 of 4066 built in 1950.

Car has been restored to a stock configuration. . Engine. transmission. drive shaft. brake system. overdrive. kingpins. bearings. fuel system. top and side curtains. wipers. nbsp; have all been overhauled or replaced with new. All key components were professionally overhauled. Car runs and handles great.   New OEM style floor pans were also installed. Upholstery is new in the original style. All five tires are new on original refurbished rims. Distributor is new with integral advance. Vehicle has less than ten miles since completion. It is a 6 volt system as originally designed.   The exceptions to stock are a poly fuel tank. seat belts for front. turn signals. and a fuel pressure regulator. Wiper motor. nbsp; carb. nbsp; and fuel pump are rebuilt. New top and side curtains are two tone - black exterior. tan interior.   Bumpers and grill are painted. There is no carpet as no Jeepster ever came with it and it holds moisture which rots out the floors. Rear springs have been rebushed and new shackles installed. Wooden bows and tack strip are new in the original style. Overdrive has been completely rewired. new relay. kickdown switch. nbsp; and governor.   Original heater of the proper style has had new ductwork installed.

 Florida Title is clear and immediately transferable. VIN shown is as issued by the state. they dropped the 473 VJ3 and required a new VIN plate.   It is the original production number.   In the nine years spent on restoration the car has remained covered and dry. All spare parts on hand will be included. as due to health reasons my restoration days are over. . Car is for sale locally.
