Welcome to my listing of my 1972 (Tax Exempt) Triumph Spitfire (Called Katie)

Sadly due to a change in my circumstances I have to choose between getting rid of this or my TR4. sadly this has lost.

Over all she is in a wonderful condition for an ever ageing classic. I have been all over in her Lemans classics France. Spain. Italy. and many other places. She has Mot until August 2014 tax until February 2015 (costing NIL).

 She boasts the following spec;

·         1500 Reconditioned Dolomite engine fitted with high lift fast road cam and an UNLEADED head and thermostatic oil cooler.

·         Twin SU HS4's complemented with K&N Filters Yellow springs and AAQ needles receiving fuel from an electric fuel pump.

·         Phoenix 4-2-1 stainless steel big bore exhaust system.

·         The Ford Type 9. 5 speed Gearbox fitted to an aluminium bell-housing (this conversion alone costs £2300)

·         Fitted with a Quick steering rack

·         Servo assisted braking system.

·         The front brake discs are drilled and grooved with green stuff fast road Pads and at the Rear we have ALFIN drums and green stuff shoes we have braided hoses all round.

·         Red polly bushes

·         She stands on SPAX adjustable dampers and uprated springs all round.

·         Signal Red paintwork complemented by 13” Minilite Alloys with firestone tyres all round.

·         Roll bar and high level brake light.

·         New interior including carpets. seats. and door cards. walnut dash and wooden steering wheel.

Dons canvas hood in excellent condition.

·         Sony CD/RADIO player.

She has a good sound chassis free from rust floor pans and sills are solid. She passes her MOT most years and is well loved and cared for. There is a couple of imperfections in the paint which i have tried to show in the pictures. the boot lid has a little bit of rust bubbling where the luggage rack feet has trapped the moisture and has faded being cellulose paint and red. the front wing is starting to flake a bit and there is a little scratch/dent where the horse kicked it nothing major. The rest of the body work and paint is in a fair condition. See pics.

This was my first restoration. and stupidly i did not keep the receipts of all the bits I bought for her. however if you were to come and view you would see just the amount that has gone in to her.

Thanks for reading. Any viewings prior to bidding are welcome.
