1987 Ford Capri 2.8i for sale

Unfortunately time has come to part with my Ayrton Senna tribute 1987 Capri 2. 8i. I've owned her for 7 years and had her re-sprayed from white to silver about 6 years back. I'm only the 4th owner with the first owner having her for 17 years.
The engine is a standard 2. 8i Cologne V6 and has covered 104k. She has been serviced almost every year (car driven between March and Nov).

Cat1 Thatcham alarm/immobiliser and retro Alpine CD/Radio/graphic equalizer.
Suspension has been uprated to a Gaz set up (£1500)and she sits on 15" Image split rims (£2000) - The exhaust system. water pump. radiator. HT leads. rocker gaskets/cover have all been replaced within the last 3 months.
Have all service records and receipts kept in a folder - all work performed by either Tickover (www. tickover. co. uk). Motech Vehicle Services (www. motechvehicleservices. co. uk) or Elite (www. elitedirect. com) - car was annually tuned by CarTune (www. cartune. co. uk).

Evans Classic Cool waterless coolant added (www. evanscoolants. co. uk) and Valvoline VR1 oil used.

Negative points - a few areas of surface rust for which I got a quote of £400 to fix. Weather strips on both doors need replacing - I have new ones to hand which just need putting on.

Mechaincally she is A1 and just needs attention to the bodywork as mentioned above.

This is not your run of the mill Capri - I have styled it to my taste with what I think is the right stance. sound etc.  good luck if you decide to bid!

I changed my mind and didn't end up selling her in the end - The rust mentioned before has now been all rectified and she has had a full respray- did you want to make an offer? I'm not looking to sell but if the offer is good who knows..
