1968, mopar, dodge, Red, 383, NO Rust, CA Car, plymouth, 68, NO reserve, LOOK

For sale on ebay is my 1968 Dodge Charger. This will be a no reserve auction. and highest bidder will win it!  Let me start off by saying if you dont like Red this isnt the car for you.   This is a factory red on red 68 Charger.   As you can see it has all be redone and looks fantastic.   Im restoring another Charger and selling to finish that project.   Great opportunity to get a Charger with all of its original panels still attached.   This is a CA car originally.   Spent some time in Nevada and then came back to to CA.   Always a dry car and never any rust.   I do have pics of the floor pans without carpet installed.   They are amazing.   Still has original trunk floor. quarters. extensions. rear window. and dutchman panel.   These are the typical rust areas that you will find on most 68-70 Chargers.   This is the first completely rust free Charger I have owned.   The trunk pan is solid but does have pitting from being 45 years old.   I did rust proof it to preserve the pan before paint.   Its only original once so I elected not to replace it for the sake of replacing it.   I will go through the entire car with what has been done.

Body was repainted Rallye Red last month. so it is only a month old.   Body is very straight and clean.   Does not have any nicks or scratches.   The car has most of its original mouldings. door handles. wheel lip mouldings and emblems.   All the trim was hand polished and is in very good condition.   Bumpers are the originals and look good.   Grille is in good shape for original and the headlights open and close as they should.   Rear taillights are original and in nice shape.   Has R/T emblem out back.   All glass is in good shape.   Front windshield has one nick. Has rear bumblebee stripe out back . white in color.   Hood turn signals are off right now but will be installed by end of auction.  

Interior is also factory red.   It has been gone through as you can see.   New seat covers. carpet. headliner. package tray. console base. dash cover. and dome light lens.   Original door covers and upper pads in great shape.   Nice original sill plates. Dash bezels are in great original shape.   Factory AM radio still present.  

Engine is a rebuilt 69 383 HP engine.   Motor has about 200 miles on it currently.   Runs fantastic.   Very good running engine that starts right up and is very mild.   It was built to stock specs.   Has HP exhaust manifolds.   All new accessories including starter. alternator. carb. distributor. radiator. and all electrical on firewall.   Has new engine harness as well.   New wiper washer bottle and pump.   New correct decals throughout were put on where they were removed.   New 383 pie tin.   Correct air cleaner installed.  

Transmission is a 727 that was fully rebuilt with rebuilt torque converter.  

Driveshaft has all new u joints and was professionally balanced.

New exhaust front to rear .   Tips will be installed before auction ends.

New brakes throughout including shoes. hardware and wheel cylinders.   New power brake booster and master cylinder.  

Suspension was rebuilt 6 months ago.   Has all new bushings and balljoints along with sway bar links.   New shocks in front and rear as well.

New fuel tank. sending unit and fuel pump. New fuel lines.

Wheels are 15x6 original steel wheels with correct dog dish hub caps.   Wheels were color matched to the car.  

Electrical is very good and lights. turn signals and gauges all working.   Light bulbs were all replaced as well.

Overall this is a very good example of a 68 Charger. A lot of time and money has went into the car to get into the condition you see it now.   Dont miss your opportunity to own it.   It will also be for sale locally and through other avenues.

Buyer to pay non refundable deposit of $500 within 48 hours of auctions end.   You can pay deposit through paypal if you wish.   If you cannot adhere to this. please to not bid! Balance to be paid within 5 business days of end of auction.   Balance to be paid with cash in person. bank wire transfer or bank cashiers check.   If you plan to pick up car in person I will only accept cash.   If you plan on shipping car bank check is ok but I will not release car until check clears my bank.   Bank wire transfer is quickest. easiest. and safest for both of us and is preferred.   Car is sold with clean title. It is NOT in my name as of yet.   If this is a problem . I can put in my name and have title in 2 weeks. Otherwise I have clear bill of sale and clear title. I have just been busy and havent wanted to spend 2 hours of my time at the DMV.   Car is sold as is . where is . no exceptions.   Shipping is sole responsibility of the buyer.   I will however do what I can to help get the car to you.   I can help obtain quotes. be here whenever for the shipper. etc.   Ultimately though you are responsible for the shipment of the car and placing insurance on car. etc.   Inspections are welcome on the car and you will have 5 days to inspect in and satisfy your expectations of the car.   The car is available PRIOR to auctions end for all inspections.   Once the auction is over. it will be the highest bidders responsibility to follow through with the sale of the car.
