1937 Lincoln-Zephyr V-12 for sale

Very rare RHD car originally sold in Stockport. Manchester. in October 1937. As supplied the colour was 'Mercury' metallic blue. but the car was repainted early in its life after the original paint failed (many Zephyrs were repainted under warranty. and it is believed the colour was changed pre-WW 2). This is the same dark blue paint the car wears today. which is in excellent condition for its age. There is no rust or rot. and the car has never been welded or had any restoration work. It is all original and excellent.
The interior is the original pale beige cloth. which has had some minor repairs over the years but is also in excellent condition. The dashboard still wears the original paint.
Mechanically. the car runs well and reliably and in our ownership has been driven all over the country with few problems. It benefits from the recent fitment by a Lincoln-Zephyr specialist of the rare and desirable two-speed rear axle which provides a higher ratio for more relaxed cruising and slightly better economy. In high ratio the car will happily cruise at 65 mph all day without complaint.
Recent work includes a rebuilt mechanical fuel pump and 12 new plugs. It is taxed and insured and ready to drive away. This car is surely one of the best Lincoln-Zephyrs in the country and comes with a comprehensive history file.
