For sale is my wife's 1947 Morris Ten series M.                                                                                

 This outstanding car is 67 years old and is looking great for her age. with only minor scratches and normal wear and tear.

She has been well cared for. always garaged. and only used in the summer on dry days.

The bodywork was treated to a major renovation about ten years ago. with epoxy protective paint on unseen surfaces. and a striking two tone colour scheme in maroon and cream which is still in very good condition.

At that time. the engine was upgraded to a 2 litre Ford Pinto engine. and Cortina running gear was fitted - including servo assisted disc brakes - so this fine old British classic is extremely reliable and much easier to drive in modern traffic.

Later. a bespoke stainless steel exhaust was fitted. costing over £900.

 All electrics are in working order. including the period ‘flick out' trafficators. although flashing indicators have also been fitted for extra safety.

 

The interior is very smart. with custom built carpets and door cards. and all seats have been professionally re-upholstered to match the two tone bodywork.

A previous owner occasionally used the car for weddings. and it always attracts admiring attention.

 

The vehicle is currently insured on a comprehensive policy for only £73. and road tax is free.   It has an MOT until September 2014. although classic cars of this age no longer require MOT certificates.
