Over the past 30+ years of selling cars this by far is my favorite. It started out as a 318 automatic challenger convertible. have 2 factory build sheets to go along with the car. It was owned for a long time owner in North Carolina for many years before it was purchased back in 2007 when the restoration of the car took off. I will tell you that a Dodge mechanic of 20+ years owned and restored this vehicle to the condition it is in now. He searched a long time for a solid e-body to build his dream car and after years of looking at over 30 cars he had finally found this solid Challenger.
This car was taken down as far as you can go with and started back from the ground up. It is about 95% done now and is by far and away the best E body I have driven in. ever. The car now sports a period correct 440-6 pack motor that has some work dont to push the power level to a estimated 450 or so. The car looks to be all stock but when you here it through the 3" TTI exhaust and those factory tips you know it has a bit more the a stock 375 horsepower back in the day. So. the motor. trans and rear have less then a 1000 miles on it since the car was 95% finished in 2010. The trans has a small 2600 stall speed converter and the rear is redone with a 3. 91 posi rear. The car has factory Air condition that works and you can see the air filter was notched out in the front to help clear the A-C.
It has a 1" spacer to lift the carbs up a little to clear for the a-c. the fuel tank. lines. brake lines. hoses. wheel cylinders and so on are all new back in 2010 also. The car still has the Original white top with no tears and he decided to leave that top on. It will come with a new white top in the box with a new rear window (have the original window also). it will also come with the white side RT stripes and RT hood logo in white. We decided not to put these on and will let the new owner decide if they want them on. As you can see in the pictures the floors. behind the door panels. everything was painted and cleared coated with no short cuts taken. I wont even tell you how much this paint job cost. lets say it was over $10. 00.
I will add a video tonight sometime when I can so you can get a true look at this car and hear it run. Open to offers to close the auction at anytime. as you can see in pictures this car is a one of a kind. I drove this car 30 miles from work and was stopped 3 times while I was driving to be asked all kind of questions. i am sure I am forgetting a few things but I will add more information later so please look again so you can watch the video and read more about it. I have the 71 wood steering wheel also to go with the car. am radio was just set in the hole for pictures. will try and get mounted before the end of the auction.
Paint is a 9. 8 out of 10. body 100% perfect. interior is 90% done. has the original dash with a small 1 in crack ( hard to see) just a awesome car. If it does not sell I will be adding the stripes on it and driving it for the summer time. No need to sell. But a must have for a collector.  My last Challenger is going to Australia that I sold last week. Do not miss this one guys - gals.
Front end suspension all redone. the rear springs were new all done in 2010. This car is a must see. The sun was not out in most of these pictures so if you want better pictures I have some on my cell phone I can text or email you more. Do not lose out on this car. you will never see another one with the color contrast of the Green and White interior like this. Thank you.

WOW, What a beautiful car. Great job of restoration. Your statement of this being your favorite car, I can truly see why. You put a lot of love into it. I wish I had the 30K to take it off your hands. You should hire a professional photographer to take some pictures sitting in a lush grassy field before it goes, they would make a great computer wallpaper. Please try to make sure who ever buys it takes care of it. Good luck!
