This is a low mileage. nbsp;early 1971 DeTomaso Pantera that has been mechanically and cosmetically restored.   This version of the Pantera was produced immediately after the original "push button" models and is characterized by the lack of a decklid ridge. three dashboard vents. gas cap under the decklid. nbsp;and rear transmission mount.   This series car also has the high-compression engine (10. 7:1) with "closed-chamber" cylinder heads.   Very rare.   Below is a complete list of the restorative services performed on the car.   The car is all stock with the exception of the carb. headers. exhaust and MSD distributor.   All original parts remain with the car and convey to the new owner.

I have had the car for several years.   The previous owner did the cosmetic work including a bare metal re-spray in Lamborghini Orange with re-chromed bumpers and bits.   During this time. the carpets were also replaced including custom floormats with the DeTomaso logo and piping to match the exterior of the car.   Very sharp.   The dash. seats and door panels are original and show very little wear.   Note that the dash and door panels have not been cut up for a radio or speakers.   All original.

The previous owner rebuilt the engine. replaced the clutch. U-joints and engine accessories.   I have put on less than 1000 miles since I bought the car.   The transmission is smooth and quiet - no crunching or whining.

During the time I have had the car. I rebuilt everything underneath the car including the suspension. wheel bearings. steering gear. brakes. transmission linkage. etc.   Everything that makes the car ride smoothly. turn and stop has been rebuilt or replaced with stock parts.    All receipts available.   Here is a complete list:
