1932 Chevrolet 5 window coupe. For sale is a 1932 Chevrolet 5 window coupe. This is an older restoration. done in the early 70's on an all steel original body. . The restoration included a swap to a Chevrolet 283 V8 with a 4 speed manual transmission. The engine runs smooth and quiet equipped with a 4 barrel carburetor and classic ram horn manifolds into true dual exhaust. The transmission and clutch operate as they should. There is an oil leak from the rear of the engine. but the exact location of the leak is not known. The body is very straight and solid. and believed to be original body panels. The paint has a nice shine to it. but was done in lacquer paint. and over time has started to shrink. causing some cracks in the paint. The panels fit very nice with even body gaps. and positive latching of doors. The interior was redone in black vinyl with and is in very nice condition. The rumble seat is done in matching trim. All of the chrome is very straight. clean and has a nice shine. The electric system was converted over to 12 volt and was completely rewired. all major electrical functions as it should. it was noted that the tachometer was not functioning at the time of inspection. The wheels and tires look very nice; the Torque Thrust wheels are straight. and clean. Bias-ply wide white wall tires have good tread on them. and all hold air. The brakes are hydraulic four wheel drum brakes that are operating as they should. All the glass is intact and functions as it should. including the rear roll down window. Terms of Sale 1.
