This is probably one of the rarest factory production cars you'll see on ebay.

Built for 8 years in the 1980's. only about 1100 of these were produced. with about half ending up in the USA.

The "Wedge" is body is built from hand laid fiberglass and mounted to a tubular chassis.

This car was hand built by TVR craftsman in Blackpool. England.

Fortunately. many of the mechanical components are common.

It is powered by a 2. 8 l fuel injected. solid lifter Ford engine mated to a 4 speed manual Ford Gearbox.

Disc brakes all around. with Ford in front. and Jaguar XJS disc in year. Jaguar XJS rear end and suspension.

This 280 i appears to be unrestored. original condition.

I'm selling it as a project. because although it does run. drive and stop. it needs some work.

These cars can fetch over 10 k when tip-top so the upside is great.

This car needs a little bit of everything as it suffers from some age. deferred maintenance and inactivity.

Its a little cold blooded at start. but once warm the engine runs strong without any unusual sounds or smoke.

Engine temp is normal.

The transmission linkage feels a little loose to me. but it shifts through all gears.

Tires and rims are excellent.

Glass is excellent.

Body has some signs of age like crazing/cracks.

Interior is aged. although useable. could be redone.

Brakes work. but are soft.

Exhaust. which is almost a trademark sound for these cars. sounds great! Tubular chassis is clean.

AC is not hooked up.

One headlight pops up. but lights work. No spare or stereo included. Horn and wiper not working. Power windows work. gauges work. except odometer which reads under 20 k.

However. this car is being sold exempt from mileage disclosure since it's over 10 years old.

I have not driven this car extensively. only a short distance due to brakes being soft.
