Rare 5-Window 1966 Dodge A-100 Custom Pick-up

We are offering a 1966 Dodge A-100 5-window pick-up.   It is a light custom that was done by a retired machinist a few years ago in Central California.   He removed the original slant 6 engine and installed a freshly rebuilt 318 Dodge engine with aluminum valve covers.   This engine was attached to an overhauled 727 automatic that shifts from the dash.   He did a custom interior with lots of chrome and stainless steel parts and then had it upholstered including the engine box. You can use the box with or without the cover (see pictures).   This Dodge also has the optional padded dash accessory.  A new stereo was also installed along with shoulder seat belts.  On the outside. he re-chromed all of the front and made custom stainless steel nerf bars for the rear.   I also have installed a class “3” drawbar trailer hitch with 7-pin wiring – however. I never used it. The rear pan was rolled and the original chains for the tailgate were moved to the inside with new interior latches to give a smooth look outside.   He built an aluminum framed toneau cover that was covered with naugahide which shows some fading but no tears. rips or damage.   He then installed an electric lift for the toneau with stainless steel mounting brackets to raise and lower the toneau cover.   The cap rails around the bed have been smoothed and filled and 4 stainless steel retractable tie-down hooks were installed.   The vehicle was then painted and hand pin striped.   Rear wheels were custom widened and all new tires and exhaust were installed.   He took the vehicle to 3 regional car shows and received 2 – first places and one 3rd place.   He mostly trailered the truck to the shows.   I purchased the truck a few years ago and have used it as a Sunday and occasional weekday driver.   I installed a battery cut-off switch but have done little else but enjoy it.    The truck runs fine and the only thing that I know of that is not working is the heater.   The speedometer does jump around occasionally so the cable may need lubricating or replacement.    
The steering wheel has some cracks that have been covered up with black tape.   VEHICLE COMES WITH A CUSTOM CAR COVER.   We also have the original maintenance service manual and a color-coded wiring diagram.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE 5-WINDOW CAB – NOT THE MORE COMMON 3 WINDOW CAB.   A NICE SIMILAR A-100 3-WINDOW SOLD ON EBAY A FEW WEEKS AGO FOR $13. 80.    MY RESERVE IS LESS THAN THAT SELLING PRICE.
