1985 ford escort rs turbo s1

1985 s1 ford escort rs turbo.

taxed until august. mot until january 2015.

viewing highly recomended.

showing 132000 miles (no history)

hpi clear. 15 owners.

car is in presentable condition. nbsp;starting to show a few age related scabs here and there. overall a nice usable clean looking classic. not one that you would be scared of using.

interior is good. dashboard only has 2 small cracks appearing (see pics). seats are in good condition although the roofling has a tear in it and sunroof doesnt work.

mechanically good. engine does smoke a bit when cold but soon clears (valve stem oil seals) janspeed stainless exhaust. bailey alloy header tank. swirl pot. samco hoses etc etc.

recent bridgestone tyres (polished wheels). koni adjustable suspention. discs. pads and calipers.

it needs a new fuel pump relay (bypassed) and a thermostat switch for the fan (continually runs with ignition on)

theres proberbly loads i have missed. but who buys a 28 year old escort without looking at it.

i bought it originaly to restore because it seems quite solid. unfortunatly i do not have the time. i am in no rush to sell it. if it doesnt sell it will be put in storage.  

overall it is a clean looking rs turbo. tax and tested to use daily through the summer.

forgot to mention it has a alloy radiator and pace intercooler.

some polybushes fitted and some that come with the car.

i am using it every other day with no real issues apart from suspenstion been a bit too harsh for our badly repaired roads and rattles me to bits.
