RESTORED CUSTOM 1946 FORD FORDOR for sale

This car has been fully restored and mildly customized over the past three years.
The goal of the restoration was to make a safe. attractive driver that could be both driven daily and shown at car shows.
Over $25. 00 was spent in this restoration. which includes:
ENGINE & ELECTRICAL
·
The original 239 flathead was rebuilt by Gearhead Vintage Engine and has less than 2500 miles on the overhaul
·
The carburetor was overhauled
·
The starter was overhauled
·
A remote spin on oil filter & PCV valve were added
·
A new GM single wire alternator was installed. the car was completely rewired. and the electrical system was updated to 12 volts
·
A Mallory electronic distributor was installed with new coil. plugs. and wires
·
Both water pumps are Speedway Motors with needle bearings
·
The radiator is a new four core heavy duty model with a 7 psi cap. and a polished aluminum coolant recovery tank was added
·
The battery is new with a 72-month warranty
·
A new fuel tank and sender were installed.
·
A new Facet electric fuel pump was installed
·
The clutch disc. pressure plate. and throw out bearing were replaced
WHEELS & BRAKES
·
Four new production brake drums from Mac's Antique Auto Parts were installed with new shoes. master cylinder. and wheel cylinders
·
All the steel brake lines and rubber brake hoses were replaced
·
The wheels were chemically stripped and repainted red. and chrome baby moon hubcaps were installed
·
New Widetrack SR tires were installed
·
Modern Monroe gas shock absorbers were adapted front & rear.
BODY
·
The body was sanded to bare metal and no bondo was found under the original paint.
·
The body was primed with PPG DP 50 LF primer and finished with semi-flat PPG Concept polyurethane paint.
·
The door and vent glasses were replaced with new glass. all door regulators were overhauled. and all new glass rubber seals. glass channel. and door seals were installed.
·
All stainless steel bright work & trim was straightened & polished. and the bumpers & hood ornament were chromed.
·
“Peep” rear view mirrors were added to both sides
INTERIOR
·
A new headliner. new door panels and new carpet were installed
·
The seats were reupholstered in red vinyl
·
The instrument cluster was overhauled
·
Turn signals were added
·
Vintage Air
heater and air conditioning system were installed
