1969 Shelby GT350 coupe unrestored

1969 GT 350 Shelby Mustang. 9F02M480377. 52. 00 miles. first sold 7/28/69. one of only 935.

Correct 351 Windsor. Four-speed. rebuilt. Hurst shifter. Power steering. tilt wheel. Rim-blow horn. Power brakes. Lucas driving lamps. Original center exhaust outlet with new mufflers and partial exhaust.

Acapulco blue w/Excellent original white interior and black carpet with original red heel pads. Original seatbelts and shoulder harnesses (date coded). Factory padded rollbar. Optional Traction-Lok Rear End. 3. 25:1. Optional close ratio Ford toploader 4-speed tranny. optional tinted glass. optional power ventilation. Fold-down rear seat and carpeted deck look and operate great. Never used Space-Saver spare tire. Correct jack and lug wrench. Optional embroidered Cobra floor mats. Incorrect AM/FM radio.

Yes. we have a Marti report.

No. we don't have a build sheet but we haven't taken up the carpets to look.

There is no significant rust that I can find. There a few paint bubbles on the lower edge of the passenger side door and there is rust on the driver's side floor pan (under the carpet. which I started to look under. but the original underlayment was stuck down so I quit). There is no rust through there.

The drivers side rear fender has been repainted and there is more body filler along the junction with the roof than on the opposite side. so we think perhaps the fender was replaced in the past. No filler in the fender itself that I can find. No other evidence of accident that I can find. There is limited damage to one of the fiberglass pieces under the drivers side of the front bumper.

The engine number does not match the serial number: 23125294. I could not find a number on the transmission. but the top flange is very hard to see. The tag is on the transmission: RUG E  012686.

We rebuilt the transmission on 3/11/2011. Very few miles since then.

Power steering unit repaired 2005 (new control valve).

Sequencer light controller replaced 2004.

Ball joints and upper control arm bushings replaced 11/15/2004

The shocks and brakes work well. The engine runs well.

This car runs good enough to be an everyday car.   It is a blast to drive! It's solid. complete and correct. but needs paint.   Non-original paint is badly checked and cracked.   But with a new paint job. this car needs not much more than a good cleaning.

One of the last affordable Shelbys.   Get it before there are none left.
