Black Velvet 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda 440 Six-Pack.

This 'Cuda is a very well kept. very original muscle car with six-barrel 440 power under the hood. The car has never required a full restoration and has been in the care of one owner for over a decade. It is presented in superb condition in its factory correct Black Velvet/Black interior/Black vinyl roof color configuration. The odometer shows what is believed to be 72. 87 original miles and is thought to have had just three owners since new.

When it rolled off the assembly line. this 'Cuda was an extremely well equipped car with a host of highly desirable features. According to the fender tag. it is an original V-Code 440 Six-Barrel car that was ordered with a 727 Torqueflite transmission and the desirable "Super Track Pack" that included a Dana 60 rear end with 4. 10 gears and Positraction. The Shaker Hood has hood pins. fender turn signal indicators. Deluxe chrome trim package and power disc brakes are also factory-correct. The "Deluxe" black interior is believed to be all original with leather six way adjustable bucket seats that show in excellent condition with minimal patina. The interior also boasts the rare overhead consolette. a wood grain "Rim Blow" steering wheel. Rally Gauge Cluster with factory tachometer. wood grain center console with "Slap Shift" ball shifter and an AM radio with 8-Track tape player.

The heads were rebuilt in the 1990's with all new hardened valve seats. a new cam. lifters and valve springs. The transmission and steering box were also rebuilt and a new driveshaft. tie rods and ball joints replaced the aging originals. A new rear deck lid with "Go Wing" rear spoiler was also added by a previous owner and the body was re-sprayed in it's original "Black Velvet" color at that time. The original deck lid with original chrome luggage rack also comes with the car. The car rolls on rally wheels with original Goodyear "Polyglass" tires.

This 'Cuda is very original and in fantastic condition and drives as good as it looks. It would be a superb candidate as a preservation class entrant and needs only the slightest of work to make it concours ready. Stop by our Bellevue showroom or call 425. 503. 0980 for more information.
