Finished in Dark Claret with Matching Leather Interior. Original Colors to the car.  A very nice example of a 1980 Corvette that has been well maintained and cared for. The body lines on this car are as nice as they come. The fit and finish is by far better than 95% of the cars that I see for sale. This was the last production year for the L-82 Engine and only 5. 69 Corvettes were built with this engine out of 40. 14 total cars produced.

 The colors on this car are very nice as both the interior and paint match nicely.  

The interior on this car is all original and shows very well. The leather seats are still in excellent shape. along with the door panels. Seat Belts. nbsp;carpet. and gauges. All original gauges including the original working radio. The Steering Wheel and Column all still look fresh as well. All original Date Coded window glass is still in the car with no nicks or scratches. Weatherstripping is still all very good on the car. The rear storage compartment all are original with the original jack and lug wrench and the original leather T-Top bags. The Wheels on this car have been polished out and look nice. Tires are still in great shape and they are Goodyear Eagle Blackwall Radials P255 60R-15. Exhaust System is still nice and original however the only non-original part is that the catalytic converter has been removed at some time. All smog Equipment is still on the engine and in working condition. The engine compartment shows very well and still has most of the original labels. decals. etc. Original Carburetor. Air Cleaner. Shielding. etc. The underside of this car is excellent only showing minimal wear due to age. No undercoating and the frame is excellent. You can still see some of the original markings as well. The car sits good. looks good. and drives out smoothly. Solid original Corvette that can be driven just about anywhere. When you get behind the wheel and drive this car you will know that the miles are actual and real.  We have personally driven this car about 100 Miles. Brake calipers have been replaced. recently serviced. and a new battery just installed.

The paint on this car has been redone.  The original Lacquer paint on these cars was nothing like you see on todays cars.  This car was professionally repainted in Base Coat Clear Coat in 2012. The finish is outstanding as the car has been nicely color sanded and buffed out. I would rate the paint job a strong 8 out of 10. 10 Being the best.  Front and rear bumpers are still the original ones and also in great shape.

Documentation includes the original warranty book and warranty card with all of the original owners information. window sticker. original owners manual. sales brochure. title history dating back to 1988. odometer statement. registration papers and previous owner insurance papers. original tire warranty and consumer information brochure that was included when the car sold new in the glovebox.

1980 Facts:

New features include new front and rear bumper "caps" with integral spoilers. Radiator air-flow increased about fifty-percent. Integral spoilers improved the drag coefficient from . 503 to . 443 compared to 1979 Models. The Cross Flag emblems for 1980 were a new. more elongated design.  The 4-Speed Manual Transmission was not available with the optional L-82 engine. however there was a few possible exceptions of a few very early production builds. After several years of weight increases. the Corvette was lighter in 1980 as engineers trimmed weight by using lower density roof panels. reducing the thickness of hood and outer doors. and using aluminum for the differential housing and crossmember.  Also for improved surface quality. urethane was applied during molding to panels forward the firewall and to the roof panels.
