Welcome to an opportunity to purchase one of the limited edition John cooper le mini coopers. These were a special edition limited to a run of just 250 and the only cars available in these colour combinations - British racing green with mulberry interior and modern aluminium dash. They are a little more than a special edition. They were to commemorate 40yrs of John cooper tuning and therefore not registered as a rover Mini Cooper. but a rover John cooper le- a nice touch. To fit with this pedigree. they were fitted with and 80bhp 1. 3 engine and are pretty nippy and sports pack fitted as standard.

So onto specifics on this one. It has done 63000 miles. HPI clear and had seven previous owners.   It is in excellent condition and whilst it is been in our ownership. we have had a lot of work carried out to maintain it including:

New water pump and drivebelts
Full fluid change every year currently with Gtx magnetec
New rear brakes-back plates. drums. shoes. pistons.
New front brakes: disks. pads and refurbished callipers
New dampers (Kyb performance) all round
New front wheel bearings and new shims in the universal joints
Subframe dropped and shot blasted. zinc coated and hammeritedNew rear swing arms
Refurbished rear bushes and suspension horns
Stainless steel performance exhaust with polyeuthane hangers
New steering rack gaiters
Refurbished alloys
4 new tyres (about 1000 miles on them) -factory spec Continental Contisport contact 
Hammerited and under sealed on all underneath surfaces and rust free

In addition. a new radio with alpine speakers were fitted last year. but for those into originality. the originals will be included in the sale.  

Cosmetically. the paint is bright and shiny. the interior soft and supple with no rips or tears. It comes with original mini mats (apparently unusual!) and nice aluminium handles. gear knob and winders all of which are original equipment. There are a few external rust blisters around the front lights. on the scuttle and on the bottom of the passenger door. I am picky. it can't be noticed from about 5 feet away. but this was work that I would have done to bring it up to a new standard again.  

We have always cared for it and garaged it and only used it in the summer months. We have been to goodwood and done the london to Brighton in it and we had intended on keeping it (hence all the work!) but a house move is forcing the sale.  

If you are looking for a mini. I can assure you of many years happy motoring with this one as it is in excellent mechanical condition. I have just put a 12 month mot on and it has 6 months tax.
