1964 CHRYSLER 300K CONVERTIBLE..

For sale and the first time offered. Chrysler 300K convertible:

 This car has been stored for the last 15 to 20 years in a museum collection in southern Nevada. She still has the old issue  Nevada plates and  only 91. 00 miles. If you know the letter cars. this is Chryslers answer to General Motor's SS option with the bucket seats and console. but then adding all the power options as well. This car is an older restoration that has been “freshened “ up. Paint has been all  color sanded and polished smooth and  it shines. The body is straight and has no rust. The glass is good. chrome is straight but a few pieces small have some pitting and or a little  fading. It still has the old Bias ply whitewall tires like new. but have some sidewall checking from years in the desert climate. The upholstery/carpet  has been nicely  redone.  still retains the original door panels. Top has been replaced. the rear window is clear and supple. No rips or tears anywhere and the dash has no cracks. The Motor was changed out in 1968 and has a nice running 1968 440ci. This car is a driver. not a Concours winner. and priced accordingly…  . 413's are readily available if one so desires. but. n my opinion. you can never beat a good running 440 with parts always available. . It is  correct for Roman Red on the paint code.

  Mechanically it has the following new parts and service:

 NEW alternator. starter. water pump. fuel pump. belts and distributor/tune up w/ new plug wires. Brakes have been gone through. gas tank has been dipped  and cleaned. new Mag Flow mufflers and  stainless exhaust tips and all new window felts. windlace and rubber door and trunk seals.  

also a new pinion seal was installed. All the windows  work along with the electric top and  power driver's seat. A LOT of work has been done to this car as you can see. She runs and drives . There may be a few small items but  the major issues have all been dealt with since coming out of storage. The chrome is original. not dented. peeling . bumpers are nice but  not new . The Engine bay and trunk have been detailed out with a new plaid mat in the trunk along with a  restored jack. Only 625 of these made. this one was a custom order with the original owner's name engraved on the plaque on the dash. This car  is a great affordable collector classic.
