1953 AUSTIN A 70 HOTROD CUSTOM PICK UP PROJECT for COMPLETION
Another one of those it seemed like a good idea at the time purchases but as other things get in the way and one has too many projects to start with i am reluctantly advertising my Austin A 70 based Pick up hotrod project.
It has a full current V 5 and was last on the road in 2001. It requires more than just a weekend to get it up and running so if you have no talent for bodywork / mechanicals or very short pockets for this sort of thing then please look elsewhere and save us all a waste of time. I will be adding pictures tomorrow once she is rolled out from storage. It has had lots of time and effort spent and will make a fantastic one off truck once completed.
Currently has a Rover V 8 engine. ustom tipper body. Borg Warner auto box. S-Type Jag rear end. Rover front grille. Westminster front suspension and lots of bits and pieces that i'm sure more of you will be able to spot than i can describe !
This is not some old rotbox chassis with a few panels left rusting away on it but a one off custom built hotrod that would look equally as good as a patina ratrod or fully chromed custom cruiser.
Viewing is highly recommended before bidding so you know what you are letting yourself in for. located near Uckfield in East Sussex.
