1951 chevy sport coupe. been in the uk 4 years. all standard and still on 6 volt. new battery 2 years ago. New vacum wiper motor. complete new brakes 2 years ago including all cylinders. New front and rear screen rubbers boot and door seals. Full respray inside and out with all trim and glass removed. rechromed bumpers done in the usa and retrimed in the usa. Much new chrome and stainless last year. engine rebuild last year. Runs sweet and drives great. won best in show and best yank in shows last year. starts 1 st time . i am told this is the only 51 sport coupe in the uk . Use as is or improve. Here are the items i had planned for this year. Body is nice and solid but a little work on the door bottoms would improve the finish. Headliner is tatty and a replacment is only $70 in the us. Two tires are getting low and the clutch bites high. Not slipping and havnt cheched for adjustment as yet. this is a reluctant sale change of circumstances means space and money needed. I can be contacted on 9. i am looking for a rodded pop or audi tt. Ebay rules apply. Also i have pics of the car when stripped to show the unrestored condition. Owes me about 14 K and insured for 16 k at £90 per year fully comp
