On sale only due to a bereavement. This car has been owned by the last owner some 8 years. A genuine SS model makes this car very rare. Known very well to the Maserati club. the car is well documented & in excellent order having had a full restoration & a history file over many years to rival any. There are 3 box files will hundreds & hundreds of receipts & loads & loads of photo's of the restoration work done.

Believed to have been restored circa 2001 (but can't be exact as could have been over several years as is often the case). The car was subject to a £40. 00 + restoration according to an advert in Top Marques. At that time advertised at £18. 00. An interesting advert next to it was 2 x Lotus Sunbeams at £3500 & £4200 which we sold one at Christmas 2012 for £17. 00 thats 500% increase in value. As Mareks have only seen about 50% over the same period. could these be the next popular classic to rocket in value? The Top Marques add is available in the history file. Other cars on the same page have all rose about 100% - 150%. This is food for thought.

As this car is almost as in as restored condition. being well cared for & minimal miles since restoration this could represent a wise investment.

Body

Subject to a full body of restoration. there is photographic evidence of many replacement new panels. including front & rear wings. bonnet. etc etc. The body condition today is almost unchanged from when completed.

Engine

The engine at the time was fully rebuilt. It starts well. shows no signs of wear with very throaty sound. The gearbox selects the gears in a surefooted fashion.

Interior

The interior seats have been recovered in black & red & are like brand new. The rest of the cabin is all sound.
