Up for auction is a frame off 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible that was restored 17 years ago. This "C" Code Mustang was on a rotisserie and had PPG epoxy red oxide primer applied to the undercarriage as well as the floorpans when it was restored. It has been a North Carolina/Georgia car all of its life until it was brought to Florida recently. This car still has the original license plate. original broadcast sheet. a copy of the original title. the original fender tag. and the original owner manual as well as a photobook documenting the restoration. I do not have the door tag for this car.

It has a 289 2bbl engine that is bored . 030 over attached to a C4 automatic transmission. It was painted dark moss green with the saddle interior and a saddle top. It has new fuel lines. brake lines and suspension components. Including KYB gas shocks on all four corners. The tires are like new and they are on 15" Crager wheels.   This car had GT style exhaust installed as well as classic auto air conditioning. The air blows cold and is controlled through the factory air/heater controls and blows through the original vents.  

The car is very solid and looks great. The doors are solid and they shut very nice.   The power top works but does need some assistance in getting it up about 3 feet. after that it takes over. Also needs some persuasion going up. It's doable with one person.   The top is like brand-new. I would consider the body to be a five footer. There are some imperfections due to the age like some paint dimpling. some dings and a few surface bubbles on the hood which I tried to photograph (about 4" in diameter) there is a little ding above the letter "U" on the trunk lid.   There are some chips on the quarter panel driver side behind the rear wheel which I have photographed.   The undercarriage is very nice as you can see in the pictures. The rear end was recently resealed

The Interior is in excellent shape and looks awesome. the color combination works really well together.   There are no issues with the upholstery. carpeting. dash pad. All seatbelt are present and are functional. There is some pitting on the grill where the pony corral and grill bars are. Bumpers are in pretty good shape. The steering wheel makes a little bit of a rubbing noise when turning.

This is an excellent running and driving car. It was recently driven from Georgia to Florida without an issue. I have a few other mustang convertibles for sale and my other listings.
