For Sale:  All-original. nbsp; unrestored. 1967 Plymouth Satellite.

(Re-listing due to buyer unable to complete purchase. )

This car was sold new in Oregon.
Was almost always in Central Oregon. which is high desert country. a very mild. dry climate. And NO salt on the roads in winter!
I purchased this great original Satellite in June 2012 from the original owner family.
This is a very original car. and still has most of the original paint. Paint shows typical and normal wear: scratches. dings. dents. chips. fading. touch-ups. thin spots. etc. . as expected on a 47-year-old used original car.
Black painted roof is a factory option. and is original on this car.   You can still see most of the original factory pinstripe on the car!  Body. frame. floor pans and trunk are original. nice. and clean. The body is very nice and solid overall.
There is some scale in a couple spots in the trunk. as is typical on these old B-Body cars.
All the exterior trim and moldings are original and nice. Except: one original tail light bezel on the passenger side is gone. The original owner replaced it with a 1967 Belvedere tail light bezel. I have a brand-new. correct reproduction 1967 Satellite tail light bezel. nbsp;that goes with the car.
Some would call this a "survivor" car since it is original and unrestored. But we all have our own perspective on old cars. so I hesitate to put labels on this car.

Please note: in the photos. all the exterior emblems. and hood lip molding. are not on the car.
When we cleaned and waxed the car last summer. I removed all the emblems and hood molding. to get all the original paint as clean as possible.   All the original emblems. and hood molding. and "383" hood ornament. are in the trunk and are included with the car. The four original hubcaps are in the trunk. Car still has the original factory undercoat. The original bumper jack. and jack hold-down parts. are intact. and in place. Car has the original factory Certi-Card. and owners manual.
Interior is all-original. and still looks nice. Aside from normal 47-year-old wear. the flaws in the interior are:  a few splits in the driver side bucket seat vinyl. and the driver-side sunvisor is split and broken. Very nice console. Dash is nice. everything works. even the original AM radio!Original carpet is in fair/good condition.
This is a genuine factory "G" code 383 Satellite. w/ 727 automatic transmission.
The drivetrain is all stock and original. except for normal maintenance & wear replacement parts. There are no modifications on this car. except a new dual exhaust system. The car has 104. 00 original miles. When I purchased the car. it had been sitting in the owner's garage for 15+ years. and had not been driven.
The car ran well when I bought it. I drove it around to many summer car shows.
The Satellite got a lot of attention at the cruise-ins! My goal with this car. was to rebuild and  "gently" hot-rod the 383. nbsp;but try to keep the car looking as original as possible. I planned to go through all the mechanicals to make her road-ready. nbsp; but keep the original paint & interior. and show it as an original unrestored car. with that cool original patina. Unfortunately. last October. as I was pulling out of the driveway. a head gasket blew.
I had been driving the car easy. nbsp;so it's pretty obvious that sitting in storage all those years was not good for the car.
The engine still turns over easy. and still starts and runs. but sputters out. I have also had some medical issues in the last couple years. so now I don't think I have the time and energy to get this car done.
I am not able to take on a new project.
Rather than let the car sit in storage again. it should go to someone who can put her back on the road where she belongs. This is a great original 1967 Satellite.
It's really hard to find a 1967 that is so original and clean. and won't cost you a fortune trying to restore it. I have owned several of these 1967 Satellites since I was a kid.   It is a classic body style. and a great-looking car!
When I was looking to buy another 1967 Satellite. I found this car to be in much better condition compared to most of the 1967 Satellites I looked at.   That's why I bought this one. it so original. When I saw it was the very first time the original owners family ever put it up for sale.   I was lucky to fond such a nice original 1967 Satellite
Build the 383 the way you want. and go have fun with this car! I have the Oregon title. I have not yet transfered it. it is still in the original family name.
Recent work on the car:Master cylinder was replaced
Radiator was re-built
Converted to dual exhaust system
The rear bumper has been re-chromed. The car now has brand-new 14" Magnum wheels & caps. and new tires. In 2012 the car got a full tune-up. w/ all new parts & fluids.
If you appreciate original cars. this Satellite will be a great original car that you can restore the way you want it.  If you are a fan of this great body style. you will notice that the 1967 Satellite has higher value than the 1966 models. I remember the days when Richard Petty and Sox & Martin campaigned this great 1967 body style!

Factory equipment on this 1967 Satellite:383 V8. nbsp; Original G code 383 car.
727 Torque-flite automatic transmission. Bucket seats. Center console with shifter. Power steering. Power brakes. Fender-mounted turn signals. AM push-button radio. Remote driver-side rear view mirror.
Please note. I am not a mechanic. not a body shop. and not a dealer.
Just a long-time enthusiast and owner of these great 1967 Satellites!
I have described the car to the best of my ability. and there is NO warranty of any kind. expressed or implied. on this 47-year-old classic unrestored vehicle. Car is sold  "As is. where is".
