Up for Auction and selling NO RESERVE is this 1981 Merecdes Benz 380 SL Convertible.
This well kept SL has low low miles. only 96000 since the day it was purchased. Over the years the Mercedes has been mechanically serviced regularly and always stored in a climate controlled facility according to the previous owner.
The car really is a pleasure to drive. and with the top down its a classic headturner. The Mercedes comes with two tops. the Hard Top is in exceptional condition and was rarely used. and the soft top is also in excellent condition.
The interior is all original and for its age is in very nice shape. even the air blows cold and the clock works as well!
An added feature to the car is the Mercedes Wire Spoke wheels. these are very rare and very expensive. and they show very well and add to the appeal of this nice little convertible.

This is a very well preserved MB given its 30 years of age.
The Hardtop looks like new as it has rarely been used.
The Soft Top looks brand new as well.
We are not sure if it is a replacement or not but its in excellent condition

The Exterior Paint is very presentable and elegant with one repaint many years ago.
The Paint in the door jambs. trunk area under the hood is all original.    
There were some other panels painted by the owner due to some minor scratches and they are a shade off.  
               
The Exterior Chrome. Trim and Emblems are all in really nice original condition.
The Wire Spoke Wheels are in great shape and we are told very rare and expensive to replace.
The Interior is all original and shows very well given its age.
No serious wear in any location.
The gauges all work with the exception of the oil pressure gauge. even the clock works!

The Engine Compartment is very clean and tidy showing pride of ownership and maintenance.
Many of the Factory Dailmer decals are still in place.
The Engine performs very well and the transmission shifts smoothly.
This is a very pretty car and rides beautifully. smooth. responsive. steering is nice and tight and the brakes perform well.
