This classic was purchased from Smythe European in January 1989 by a surgeon in Northern California. His family had the car until June 2008 when it was purchased by the second owner. The second owner soon decided he wanted a different. faster vehicle and a few months later I purchased it in October 2008.  

When I purchased it I was planning to keep it forever and I proceeded to fully refurbish the car. We replaced the leather on the seats  and the vinyl ‘tex-mex' jump seat was replaced with new. Weather stripping and mouldings were removed and replaced with new (for the soft top and hard top).
