It takes a lot to truly impress us. but the condition of this '77 Lincoln Continental Town Car certainly achieved that.
The odometer reading on this car is a little under 10. 00 miles. which we had assumed to be around 110. 00 since there is nothing by way of paperwork to indicate the correct figure. Quite simply. however. there is nothing about this car which indicates that it has a six-figure mileage. and its general condition is more in keeping with something a couple of years old! It is straight. totally solid. with a superb interior. near-perfect headliner. super-clean engine bay and unworn brake and accelerator pedals. We have to declare it as 'mileage unknown'. but its condition is in fact consistent with its odometer reading. so. you decide! If it has done 109. 51 miles. then that would have to be the gentlest six figure mileage we've ever encountered.
This is a very rare car in the UK. and in fact this model is becoming much more scarce in its native USA. with more and more finding their way into the hands of collectors.
Equipped with the legendary Ford 460 cubic inch motor and tough-as-nails C 6 transmission. this is one spectacular behemoth.
