The Jeep project is now completed it is doubtful if another 1979 Jeep Wagoneer exists in the world in this virtually rust free. original condition and is totally usable in all ways.
The Wagoneer was subject to a total ground up restoration with no expense spared the asking price for this vehicle falls into insignificance when compared with the estimated restoration cost's that were in excess of £70k not to mention nearly 8 years of restoration time.
The Wagoneer was rebuilt using only quality new parts.
New parts was used to replace anything that was not 100% bringing this vehicle back to as close. if not in better condition than it left the AMC factory in 1979.
It is doubtful if any work will be required to be done for another 30years and with a final polish etc the Jeep deserves to be shown.
This Jeep type is considered to be one of the best and longest running production models Jeep ever made and is defiantly the highlight of jeeps production of the Quadra type vehicles.
As I expect you are aware it is also the ultimate Towing/Tractor unit vehicle
On or about the 15th November 2005. This 1979 Jeep Wagoner was purchased from America with the purpose of being fully restored back to as near brand new condition as possible.
It was chosen and purchased for its outstanding condition being virtually rust free example and complete with no modifications.
It was also showing a low mileage reading on the installed odometer approx 65. 00 miles unlike the restored Wagoneer showing 5 miles on it's new Speedo.
