Welcome to the sale of my Porsche 930 Turbo. this is a nice honest car. re-commitioned by myself after 8 years of centrally heated garage storage. it now has a full no advisories 12 months MOT. the car runs and drives well. please take a good look at my video to confirm.
I would class this car as a rolling restoration project. it it not mint by any stretch. but it is a very honest 30 year old car. it could be run as-is or gently restored as required.
The car has bubbling on both front wings as you will see from my video. I do have 2 genuine - boxed Porsche wings that can be purchased separately. please bare in mind that these wings are £1000 each +vat from Porsche. the closer I can get to the very reasonable asking price the less they will be.
Other than that the car is pretty rust free. there are no welded patches I have shown most tidying works required on my video.
Re-commitioning work carried out was-
Replace stale fuel and filter. Replace spark plugs. leads and distributor cap. Tune engine for MOT CO requirements. Replace all 4 brake hoses. (rusty ferrels)
Replace 2 front metal brake pipes on front calipers. Remove all front brake pads copper grease etc. Replace rear brake pads. Replace horn. Replace brake fluid. Replace Battery.
The current mileage is 72000. confirmed by the following MOT certificates-
July 97 - 48814 mls
Jan 99 - 51936 mls
May 2000 - 63173 mls
May 2001 - 67167 mls
June 2002 - 69923 mls
Oct 2003 - 71296 mls
Oct 2004 - 71790 mls
Current MOT 71997 mls
As you can see everything follows well with the mileage. although I don't have any service history only some invoices for works carried out including-
Full service 15/05/2003 £306. 45
Complete gearbox refurb and clutch replacement 12/05/04 cost £3033. 49. Steering and geometry check 05/04/04. It needs the windows and sun roof looking at. not currently working but I only suspect a poor fuse connection or something like.
The car was first registered in this country 08/02/95. but declared manufactured 1982. where the car was for it's first 13 years I don't know?
The car has 2 previous keepers since 1995.

More information of interest after interesting questioning -
All actual car number - VIN on car -WPOZZZ 93 ZCS 000393. VIN on V 5 - WPOZZZ 93 2 C 5 000393. this shows a human error Z mistaken for a 2 and S mistaken for a 5.
However the engine numbers do not match. The engine in the car has ID - *68 J 00420*. where V 5 shows 67 C 0425.
This I think I am right in saying is a 3. 3 Turbo engine made in 1988. I will leave you 2 links to decipher your self.

I have done a little more digging into the cars history and it would appear to have been registered in the Channel Islands. but I have no hard evidence to back this up. Sorry.
