1975 Porsche 911 s Targa - Restoration Project for sale
Current customer rating: (465 votes ) based onThe car is good externally and is ready in a primer. The panels are pretty good as well and don't have any rot. The car has it's Fuchs Alloys in good condition but will benefit from a refurb of course. The chassis is also good also. with a little bit of repair needed on one sill. The floor pans are solid if a little corroded on the surface.
Internally. the car has decent seats. but do have the odd tear and will need refurbishment. The rear seats do need a refurb as well. There is also trim needed to cover the door panels etc. The dash is pretty good and the original steering wheel etc is all there. The switches for and handles etc for the inside of the doors will be required.
The car starts. goes and stops well. despite it's looks! with very little fettling the engine fired first time and actually runs pretty sweet. The steering is also fine as are the brakes. Obviously not in top condition but the car is definitely a runner and a very good starting point. The engine is very strong and is matching to the car.
We have a box of bits also to go with the car. there is a lot of the car there and wouldn't require huge amounts of work to transform.
It is a car we really wanted to do ourselves but we are now needing floor space for customer builds.
A little model history:- From 1974 onwards. the engine size was increased to 2687 cc giving an increase in torque. Second. was the introduction of impact bumpers to conform with low-speed protection requirements of US law. these bumpers being so successfully integrated into the design that they remained unchanged for 15 years. Thirdly. the use of K-Jetronic CIS Bosch fuel injection in two of the three models in the line up— the 911 and 911S models. retaining the narrow rear arches of the old 2. 4. now had a 2. 7-liter engine producing 150 PS (110 kW; 150 hp) and 175 PS (129 kW; 173 hp). respectively.
I can send you photos of any part of the car that you wish and will aim to answer any questions the same day.
With no duties. shipping or tax to pay. we can even deliver the car for you at cost price of fuel and our driver's time.
Additionally. we are a restoration company so if the car interests you and you want us to take it on. we'll happily do so! (and hence find the space for the car!). We can get this car to exactly the standards you would want.
We would require a £250 deposit within 24 hours for any sale. and the final payment by Cash. Cheque or Bankers draft.
Many thanks for reading and we hope you make a bid!
