MERCEDES-BENZ SLK320 (Manual).

First registered on 24th July 2003 and supplied by Jacksons CI Ltd (Mercedes-Benz Guernsey). specified with all the desirable and expensive options including full Designo interior. this motor car has led what can only be described as a charmed existence to date. Used sparingly on Guernsey and for the odd trip to the South of France. this rare 6-speed manual SLK320 has had but one owner from new and covered the ridiculously low mileage of 27. 00 miles. This is fully warranted. with all books and a complete service history from new.

The car has only just come to the Mainland from Guernsey and it must be one of the finest examples available anywhere.

MECHANICAL CONDITION.

As might be expected with such a low mileage. the mechanical condition is second to none and the car drives and performs absolutely without fault. It has evidently been the subject of highly detailed maintenance throughout its life and this is supported by the fully stamped Mercedes service book

When it comes to winter. Guernsey does not use salt on its roads. so underside suspension components. rubbers. pipework etc all look much fresher than their Mainland counterparts. Although in fairness. from the evidence of the underside of this car. you would be forgiven for thinking it had never even been out in the wet.

BODYWORK & PAINTWORK.

Bodywork remains Factory original with perfect panel fit and not a ripple in sight. The metallic Brilliant Silver paintwork is. dare I say. ‘unmarked'?

Look into the wheel arches. and these areas are almost as clean and dirt free as the outside bodywork.

CONVERTIBLE FOLDING ROOF.

The electric mechanism works quickly. quietly and smoothly.

WHEELS & TYRES.

 The correct original alloy wheels. specific to the 320. are fitted and these are in perfect undamaged condition.

They are fitted with a set of Pirelli tyres. the two fronts being brand new last week. All protected with locking wheel nuts.

INTERIOR.

Highly specified Designo interior specification. Original and unmolested. the light grey leather interior is spotlessly clean and in just about perfect condition. The dashboard is perfect. as are the door and side trim panels. and carpets (protected by original Mercedes overrugs). Appearance is entirely commensurate with very low mileage.

The steering wheel is fitted with its own leather protector and even this protector is unmarked. Seat belts have special Mercedes padding elements to make them more comfortable for the wearer.

Electric seat adjustment to both front seats. Multi airbags.

Air conditioning.

Cruise control.

Original Becker Mercedes-Benz radio with multi cd.

BOOT AREA.

Immaculate and complete with original toolkit. jack. warning triangle. unused spare wheel and  compressor. first aid kit etc.

ENGINEBAY.

I don't want to go over the top. but it's hard to see how the engine bay can possibly be much different to when the car was new. Spotlessly clean. it would surely win a concours event with no further work!
