Current customer rating:
One of a kind 1962 Imperial Custom Southampton.
Has been an Oregon car all of its life and has the papers to prove it. Original title. Original Pacific Wonderland license plates. Original stickers on plates. Spent 30+ years of is existence. dormant in the Oregon desert. I carefully brought it back to life last year. Now driven weekly. Excellent running 413 engine (oil pressure. voltage. temp. and fuel. at warm idle are pictured " does not use oil. smoke or overheat"). Transmission is firm and smooth. All glass is in excellent shape. Body in excellent shape. Original Moonlight Blue Metallic paint. Floorboards and trunk and body are in excellent shape (no cancer). Lights work. windows work. power seat works. wipers work. horn works. Excellent candidate for restoration or drive as is -- (cool factor off the charts. cant go anywhere without thumbs up and people wanting to talk about it). Has permanent Oregon special interest registration. Cars this original do not come up often. if ever. Title is free. clear. in my name and will be release it to the winning bidder. Can help facilitate delivery. Reserve is less than a dollar a pound.
On Feb-12-14 at 13:00:53 PST. seller added the following information:
Driven every week (sometimes several times a week). Is a pleasure to drive. No major work to be done as far as I can tell. Rear break cylinders have been seeping and will be rebuilt this weekend. All fittings have been greased. Oil and filter were changed before the car was started after sitting dormant for over 30 years (cylinders were also prepped properly). Oil and filter were changed again after its first 500 miles. Normal engine oil seepage at valve covers. Some seepage from the left side of the transmission. I replaced the driveline carrier bearing (also known as the dampener) because the rubber had DE vulcanized from the carrier bracket. Click on link to see and hear its 413 ci big block engine run: Horsepower: 340 4600 rpm Max Torque: 470 2800 rpm .
