Description

Restored & Performance Upgraded 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. Finished in mile-deep Black over a Red interior. this 1964 Chevelle is a true SS that has been fully restored and upgraded for high performance. It has been owned by the same muscle car enthusiast for more than 6 years and has been meticulously cared for since restoration's completion.

This Chevelle underwent a professional. frame-off rotisserie restoration in early 2011. The car has been performance upgraded but the restoration was completed with an eye to keeping this Chevelle true to a stock look. The body was stripped and superbly refinished in black with excellent panel fit & gaps and the brightwork and chrome was refinished or replaced. The interior was reupholstered in Red vinyl and features bucket seats. center console. red steering wheel. B&M gear selector. an Auto Gage tachometer and Pro-Comp under-dash auxiliary gauges.

What began as a 454 ci big block V 8 has been bored out to 468 ci and has been performance modified with forged pistons. hydraulic lifters. roller rockers. Edelbrock high-rise intake with a Holley double-pumper. jet coated Hooker headers. electronic fuel pump & MSD ignition. All said and done. this Chevelle pounds out approximately 500 hp. To handle the high performance. the engine is backed by a heavy-duty TH 350 automatic transmission and drives a 3. 37 12-bolt Positraction rear end. The car rolls on Weld Racing wheels with Mickey Thompson street slicks. and power front disc brakes provide stopping power.
