1978 nova/ phoenix/ xbody

 A one of a kind rare 1978 Pontiac phoenix 2dr coupe restomod  show car. Let's start with the engine first it's a 2007 chevy 6. 0 ls engine that had 3100 miles on the truck when pulled. And so did the transmission which was a 4l60e two wheel drive. The engine has a ls6 hot cam and new roller lifters and double roller timing chain.  The ignition system is accel  high energy output coil overs. The exhaust system is edelbrock ball and socket conversion long tube headers with 3'' exhaust with 26" thrush mufflers. Also have a professional specialities power plus aluminum intake manifold. The transmission had a 2500 stall convertor by hole shot with a lokar 4l60e 8" shifter and lokars relocate transmission dipstick tube. The accessories on the front of engine had to have special brackets to accommodate the a/c p/s and alternator. The brackets are from kwik specialites and are made from aluminum.  The fuel system has had a new fuel tank and sender with a napa frame mount fuel pump with summit racings special fuel filter/pressure regulator assly. I have installed a chrome sanden compressor for the A/C but the lines need to be made and the a/c charged. The cooling system has a new 2 core aluminum radiator with 12" electric fan the upper and lower hoses are from spectra as is the cold air intake. There is a summit racing performance mass airflow meter with anodized red housing. Car has had a frame off new body bushings from classic industries. Sub frame and parts where sandblasted and painted black new brakes all around. The suspension had new rear leaf springs and bushings all new shocks with rears being hi jackers air shocks. The rear end was serviced and inspected for wear no problems were found and the gear ratio was 262. Well now for the rest the hood is custom made with a 6" cowl added with a lokar remote hood release cable and handle assly both bumpers have had all the bumper bolt holes welded up and straighted by ogden chrome in SLC Utah. The paint is RM base coat clear coat 4 wet coats of plum crazy purple and 4 coats of RM clear and has been wet sanded and polished to a mirror finish. Wheels are American racing chrome 5 spoke with black centers with 295/50/15 on the rear with 205/60/14 on fronts tires are 8 months old. The interior has a few things custom also first off it has a painless wiring harness and programed ecm. The gauges are from dolphin and are installed in a custom aluminum dash and all work the seats are from a Subaru wrx and they are manuel and the rear seat was covered to match the fronts. The whole bottom of the car has been under coated car had no rust and was very straight this thing is fast and loud was dynoed at 420 hp at my rear wheels. IF YOU WANT A MUSCLE CAR THEN BUY THIS ONE IT"S DIFFERENT THAN THAT CAMARO. Come on people you can't build this car for my reserve. I have over 35000 into this project and I know I wont get that back but at least what it is worth. The headers where 800. 00 the torque convertor was 650. 00 painless was 1000. 00 plus computer program 300. 00 coils 125. 00 each that's 1000. 00 intake 400. 00 engine and trans 4500. 00 paint job 12000. 00 bumpers 2500. 00 lokar stuff 500. 00 wheels and tires 1000. 00 interior 1200. 00 all suspension and under body work 2500 in under carriage custom hood custom dash 700. 00 and I know i'm missing things that's what I remember and lets see i'm at 30000. 00 just here and that does't include price of car or my labor to do what I was capable of doing
