Western Convertible;  yes rusty floors. but not to be confused with an East Coast or Midwest car that has serious rot issues with inner body structure and frame. Obviously. out in the elements for a part of its life. but the last couple decades it was in a barn in Kansas.

Unmolested. mostly complete. original car; numbers matching engine and frame. What you see is what you get. no hidden surprises. mostly original paint and interior (what is left of it). 4627 lbs of Classic American Beauty! You don't park this car. you dock it!

THE GOOD

-Great and desirable color combination      

-Frame is solid. Western car from Kansas. Rust in floors was from the

top down. NOT bottom up. Bottom of car was “sandblasted” from

driving on gravel. there isn't any heavy rust  flaking from salt.

- has all the potential to be a “high dollar” restored classic. or unique

 custom. either way well worth the effort.

-Optional Wire Wheel Hubcaps along with standard caps.

-New authentic reproduction plastic Door “Lube Tag” correctly

stamped with “engine number” (VIN) ordered. and included with car

(as with all 50's Cadillac's. the VIN is actually the “engine number”. which is on the right front rail and engine. The plastic “lube tag” is screwed to the driver's side rear door jamb. )

-Excellent bench seat from a 55 Coupe DeVille included with car (exact same seat). Rest of A/C Coupe DeVille parts car not included. but can be available.

-Note the picture with separated parts from the car: The remains of the interior are there for patterns. the rear hood support and hinges that unbolts from the hood. rear seat bottom. and interior stainless trim not attached to interior.

The BAD AND THE UGLY:

-Rusty Floor. but repo or original floor panels available.

-Missing power Antenna and Radio

-Rust hole in top mechanism header bow. but rust appears to be isolated and the rest of mechanism appears to be solid.

-Rust in rear bumper ends. It looks bad. but better than parts car. and I am guessing that worse have been repaired successfully.

I have used a particular Texas based transported many times that gladly accepts inoperative vehicles and makes deliveries to Texas every few weeks.
