1969 Pontiac Pro-touring Firebird

“Green Bird“

**Attention all Pontiac / pro-touring fans. Here is one of nicest 1969 Pontiac Firebirds out there. These are rare and hard to find in this excellent condition. They are also on the up curve for appreciation. Everyone has those Camaros. especially the 69's. Stand out at shows. This ride gets major attention everywhere I take it to and always takes home a trophy. This bird is fast and handles like it is on rails. All the right stuff was used on this one. Where to start … the motor is a 350 Pontiac block 30 over built up to be strong and reliable. Fires right up every time with TONS of power. Mid cam has a nice lobe sound. Idles greats. 4 barrel carb. headers. 350 tranny with mild shift kit. Rear end has been completely rebuilt with a Eaton posi unit and a 3. 73 ring gear. All new bearings. The suspension front to back is new. Up front are tubular control arms upper and lower with 2in drop spindles. Over sized calipers powdered coated red with slotting and cross drilled rotors. In the rear over sized new drums completely rebuilt. The car stops on a dime better than a new car. The rear has new springs with all poly graphite bushings all around. New shocks on 4 corners and over sized front and rear sway bars. All new lines. brake. gas. etc. Custom exhaust NASCAR style; gotta hear this car run! Under coated and detailed better than new. All the electrical works. right down to the heater blower motor! The wheels are custom made American racing staggered- 17's up front and 18's in rear. Custom body color pin striping on the outer lip of wheel. The correct offset/ back spacing so they fit perfectly in the wheel wells. New tires BF Goodrich KWD's 2. All the suspension/ tires/ wheels have less than 500 miles on them. The interior is factory correct and mostly original and in good shape. I had to stitch the headliner in a few spots but nothing major. The dash show some wear but not bad. It presents very well. I had the paint done 5 years ago. Looks great. car is straight- not a bondo bucket!! The passenger fender has a 2-inch scrape that I touched up with the correct paint code (lime light green) as does just before the hood lip that I touched up. I got a quote from a body shop and it was under $200 to repair. Never got around to it because it's nothing major and I hardly notice it. Just being honest in my description. This car was always stored in a heated garage and covered. I have over $35. 00 into this car. Someone is getting a great car for a great deal that will give them a TON of fun. Family is growing and I now have to part with a few of my toys. I also have a book that I put together on the car with a some pics the restoration process and a reprint copy of the original window sticker and other misc paperwork etc. Just nice to have with it. I tried to cover it all in this description. which is a lot.
