1970 Grand Torino. collectors and restorers check this car out!! This car has a rebuilt 351 Cleaveland and matching number transmission with less than 1000 miles!! Car is a good ole Texas car. and as far as we can see a rust free car!! Paint is approx 10-12 years old. and the yellow body sits on magnum 500 wheels. Weather stripping on the doors and trunk is new also! Car came equipped with factory air. and we have the parts from the AC. but they are NOT on the car.

Going underneath the car. this car has new brake lines and also a new master cylinder.   Now. lets talk car!

I walked this car over and over. Having selling many antique/classic/collector cars I know some of the more common questions and comments. First let me say I personally have not owned this car. and will only be the eyes and ears for YOU.

The car does ride and drive. and does a pretty darn good job! The main thing that anyone will really need to know on this car will mainly be cosmetic.

On the outside of the car you will notice some small imperfections on the bottom panels. These are areas that many will replace with chrome or black panels. You will see the passenger side key hole. and antenna also. Also as seen in the pics look down below the front bumper. The front bumper has some surface rust. its been in my expierences though many will take these off and have them rechromed. while in a restoration process.

Going around the doors trunk and hood. I just havent seen and "dings". Keep in mind I am only a human. but I always try to find every flaw I can especially in these types of cars. We talked about the windshield. and the rear glass appears to have no cracks as well as the door windows.

Now. Lets move indside!! The seats are in just great shape. showing no signs of rips tears or distress of any kind. Looking above. I didnt see any flaws in the headliner as well. Sitting down in these seats and looking at the steering wheel. you will see the center piece is missing. and this will be sold as is. as we do not have the piece for it. The dash coverdoes have some Texas heat cracks. and would be a fairly cheap replace. The dash cluster does have some "frost" and for a good clean restore I would suggest replacing the lens. Everything else can all be seen in the pics!! All in all over and under. this car is a good solid car. If your looking for a car to cruise around in and dont really wanna mess with a restoration. you wouldnt be ashamed of owning this road warrior. If your the guy who wants to do a restoration. this would be a car that you have been looking for. not going to require much body work at all. interior will require even less.

To be honest. I kinda like the crap out of this car. I dont see where there would be any disappointments at all in buying this car. We set the buy it now at pretty fair price and move the reserve down even a little bit lower. happy bidding and feel free to call or text with any questions!!!

On Jan-07-14 at 17:06:31 PST. seller added the following information:

It has been brought to my attention of some spelling errors. such as GRAN not GRAND should have been used. In addition to this I was told that Ford did not make the GRAN until 1972. SO this model you are currently looking at would be a Torino. I do apologize for an errors in this listing. The following information was copy and pasted from wikipedia. The Ford Torino was an intermediate automobile produced by the Ford Motor Company for the North American market between 1968 and 1976. The car was named after the city of Turin (Torino. in Italian). The Torino was initially an upscale version of the intermediate sized Ford Fairlane. which Ford produced between 1962 and 1970. After 1968. the Fairlane name was retained for the base models with lower levels of trim than those models which wore the Torino name. During this time. the Torino was considered a subseries to the Fairlane. By 1970 Torino had become the primary name for Ford's intermediate. and the Fairlane was now a subseries of the Torino. In 1971 the Fairlane name was dropped altogether and all Ford intermediates were called Torino. This name was one of several originally proposed for the Mustang while in development. [1] The Torino was essentially a twin to the Mercury Montego line. Most Torinos were conventional cars. and generally the most popular models were the 4-door sedans and 2-door hardtops. However. Ford produced some high-performance versions of the Torino by fitting them with large powerful engines. such as the 428 cu in (7. 0 L) and 429 cu in (7. 0 L) "Cobra-Jet" engines. These cars are classified as muscle cars. Ford also chose the Torino as the base for its NASCAR entrants. and it has a successful racing heritage.
