Seller's notes: "No real defects inside or out. Being this motor home is 25 years old the paint is a little faded and so is some of the decal striping. If I were going to keep it 10 year, I'd repaint it. I really think a good waxing and buffing would make it look new. No rust that I can see and the paint job is original- I was told by the previous owner. No body damage and I do not think it's ever been in an accident- again from the previous owner. The inside is strong and solid. The fabric on the seats isn't worn or torn. The carpet and seats and beds were always covered. The dash and front are good and not warped . There is an occasional loose piece of molding but a little glue can fix that. I believe the electrical and water and heating and a/c system all work well. I've only owned it a short time and have never used the water system. The electrical has been checked out and works wonderfully. I have a bunch of pictures- please look them all over carefully."

Let me tell you all that I know about this wonderful Motor Home and all the things it can do.

Please bear with me as there's a lot to cover here and I'm a very poor typist. I'll try to hit on
all of the highlights but if I forget some- please write me for an explanation- I will respond.

Let me tell you why I purchased it and my needs and uses for it. I'm an older wedding DJ
and I've grown weary of changing in and out of my Tuxedos at the events bathrooms after
the drunk male party goers have urinated everywhere but the toilets. Dressing (and undressing). br>in even the nicest facilities. causes my nice clothes to be dragged on the urine soaked floors.
A motor home like this one allows me to be able to stand up (I'm 5' 11") and comfortably dress
and undress in the home. This home also allows me to keep my equipment always loaded up
and the closet and bathroom allow me all of the room for comfortable preparation. So you can
see that it meets all of my DJ needs. A 6'0" person can stand up in a good portion of this van.

Another biggie of this home is that it fits (just barely fits) in my home garage eliminating either
parking it outside (forbidden by my neighborhood) or taking it to a rental (unsafe) lot costing
65-70. 00 monthly to store it. My garage is 19' long and the motor home is 18' long. I did have the
spare tire (and holder) removed as it gave me a full foot to back up. Another biggie- There is 3"
of spare room at the top so I could not add the roof a/c that I've wanted to do. But I can get
it stored properly at my home where my equipment stays safe. I've recently quit DJing and
no longer have a need for this home. I was going to keep it for Buccaneer football
games but who needs a bunch of drunk friends trashing it out. So -it's yours if you want it.

I found it on ebay last March in Ocean City. Maryland (I live in Tampa. Fl. ) After much
conversation with the Maryland owner (concerning it's long haul driving abilities) I flew up
to Maryland and made a 2 day 1100 mile drive back to Tampa. It ran beautifully all the way
via I-95. The only problem wasn't mechanical but old tires. About 80 miles outside of Georgia
my left rear tire blew out at 70 miles per hour. The home swerved but I was able to slow down
and get off the road without any problems. Those fine people that had to slow down and move
over were all telling me (with their right hands) that I was #1. Like I really wanted all of
that to happen. Was I scared at that experience? Only my dry cleaner knows for sure. Anyway. br>all the tires were good looking but had dry rot from sitting up 10 years by the previous owner.
He had put about 1000 miles of driving time in the 10 years he owned it. As soon as I got home
I bought 5 new D Load Range tires (he had C Load Range tires and those were too light for a
one ton Dodge Van).

The van ran beautifully the entire run and I've done several little things to it since I've owned it.

Motor homes (like this one) are not driven as a personal vehicle so all of them have very few
miles on them. For example - I haven't put 1000 miles on it in the year I've owned it. I do about
3 DJ jobs a month and they're all local jobs- thus no real miles put on it. It has less than 69. 00
of use on it. That's not a bunch of miles for a 25 year old van.

I've spent quite a few dollars on fixing little things. The a/c was cold in Maryland but that's
because the weather there was 28 degrees that day. In Florida your a/c has to be super with our heat.
I spent (still have the bill) 673. 00 completely replacing and fixing it. The previous owner
did kick in 400. 00 of the bill for bad information. I've spent probably another 1. 00. 00 on fixing
little things that just needed fixing. (I have all repair bills). It runs great with nothing to apologize
for. It had to for my needs as I couldn't ever afford to be broken down o the way to an engagement.

Now for the interior- To me that's the best part. If you know this conversion. you know that there's
a lowering of the floor (6") at the side doors entrance. That's what allows you to stand up inside of it.
I've taken out the small kitchen items to create more room. I still have the appliances and LP Propane
tank that runs them (all pictured) should you want to re-install them. Personally- I do not have a need
for a small 2 burner stove (I wouldn't be trying to cook on it). I hate those small refrigerators as
everything just rattles around in them when you're driving around.   The small microwave / oven is
useless and the tiny sink just gets in the way . I had all of them taken out for space needs and the same
with the LP Propane tank as it's heavy and I had a use for it space. They are all pictured and available.

I have a portable 10. 00 BTU air conditioner that can move in or out in case you decide to live in it.
I couldn't imagine doing so but one interested party (2 small people) are considering putting it on
their property and living in it. The dash a/c works great and is the only in van a/c but the portable
a/c is so cold it will run you out. There is no generator and I do not trust them due to the fumes
they let out.

The 5' X 7" rear bed is comfortable and large though I've never slept on it. The bathroom is a full
bathroom but small. I've had the electrical completely checked out and it all works great. I have
not used the water system but was assured that it all worked fine. The middle seats fold out to
many different positions- I have pictured several of the positions. It also folds out to a bed that will
sleep two (not pictured) and it comes with a removable table (also not pictured). This is a very
comfortable and useful seating arrangement.

The interior is in great condition and all carpeting is in super condition. There are no leaks or
any evidence of any previous leaks.

As good as this motor home is my favorite feature is being able to keep it at my home in my
garage. You can also park it in about any parking space.

Well- I'm tired and I know I've left out many important things so write me and I'll respond.

THIS MOTOR HOME IS BEING SOLD "AS IS- WHERE IS" WITH OUT WARRANTY IMPLIED OR EXPRESSED

Thanks for your interest and time to read all of this

HAPPY BIDDING

I have an '89 228 that is very similar to the one you have. I want to remove the propane system lock stock and barrel- furnace, frig and stove- to reduce the weight of the unit. How did you remove the kitchen unit?
