1970 Pontiac Firebird Formula Matching#'s 4-speed M-20 + LS7 installed for sale
Current customer rating: (360 votes ) based onInterior: Let me begin by saying this car does have some rust and needs to be restored someday! Although the good part is the car is highly optioned and a 4-speed manual. The interior is all Original except I installed a CD player in the glove compartment and 2 speakers in the back(Refer to pictures). Does come with a spare glove compartment from a same year formula. Also replaced the shift knob with a white one which the original was black(Stripped). There is rust starting to appear around the Posts(Front corners of the car). Also I have an original build sheet I found under the seat.
Exterior:This car came with air conditioning which I removed (SORRY!) to install an 1970's LS7 454 with a forged crank pistons and world product heads. The car's power steering has also been removed. although the power steering box still remains and can be easily hooked back up. When I received the car. the rims were not the original so I replaced them with snowflake rims from the late 70's that have been powder coated. The lower valance panel has also been replaced due to rust. The hood has been replaced with an original 1970 ram air hood(RARE!) and the ports can be used. I had painted the car white and it comes with a paint warranty (Macco paint job low-medium quality). The exhaust is flowmaster delta 40 series 3". Radiator recently re-cored. Mickey Thompson Tires recently replaced. Original Vinyl top. although rust bubbles are starting to appear underneath.
The Original engine comes in a plastic wrap with the heads and crank in plastic bags(Have receipts showing all work done 2500$+) . Engine stamped WT (330hp) with matching codes.
I would like to say I love this car. I am leaving the military to attend college and I will not be able to keep restoring it. With that being said. I am stationed in Hawaii and can ship the car to a number of ports on the coasts of the United States . or I will have the car in Ohio in 3 months no matter what. I hope it finds someone who can restore it completely! Options listed on the window sticker(Refer to pictures). Message me questions if you would like to know anything! Also I have an original build sheet I found under the seat.

from Dave Nazzaro, dated 18 february 2014
Hi there,
My name is Dave. First, thanks for your service to this country. I am interested in the car. I can see it will need to be restored further. I have been restoring cars for the past 14 years or so and live Pontiacs. I am located in CA, just south of San Francisco. Have you shipped the car this way yet? Perhaps we can chat about the car more so I can ask a few more questions. I'd like to potentially restore her back to original. The early 2nd gen birds are special cars. Thanks! My cell is 978-204-6635
