New photos!  I rescued Possum the Cadillac from a barn in California where she had been sitting several years, after her owner passed away and left his car collection behind.  Odometer reads 92k.  Some of the interior was disassembled, but the car was otherwise intact and overall very rust-free.  After a tune up, the engine fired up and ran pretty quiet, so I decided to build her to drive! In the last 6 months, I have replaced: Carburetor, fuel tank, water pump, radiator (re-cored original), radiator hoses, coolant, engine oil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, points/cap/rotor, ignition coil, fan belts, metal brake lines, rubber brake hoses, wheel cylinders and brake hardware, master cylinder, and rebuilt treadle valve (power booster).Mechanical: This is a turn-key car, you turn the key and she starts!  I've driven her around the neighborhood, no problem.  The engine sounds smooth, no rattles or ticking, and she doesn't seem to drip any fluids.  Heater hoses have been disconnected from water pump, heater core condition unknown.  Fresh fuel comes from a new reproduction fuel tank and sending unit.  The transmission shifts, at least to third because I've only driven in the neighborhood. It does need exhaust - it's very rotted away.  Power steering works well but has a little whine.  The brakes have been bled and adjusted, and she stops, although the pedal has a little softness but maybe it's a vacuum thing?Interior: The interior appears to be 95% complete, and presents well except for the seats.  The green seats are from a Deville, though I have a pair of blue '57 Fleetwood front seat trim pieces with courtesy lights.  I put the interior together, so some of the screws don't match but it stays in place!  Drivers door interior hardware removed but I have it.  Very cool Fleetwood headliner still intact.  I have not gotten the power windows to roll up or down, but the headlight switch seems to work.  On the dashboard, the generator light stays on when driving, but the speedometer works and fuel gauge works, and both appear accurate!Body: Overall, very little rust on this car.  There is a bit starting around the bottom of the rear window, and some rust on the bottom corner of both front doors.  The driver side front floor pan has a few pinholes.  Trunk looks fine.  Tires all hold air well, 3 of the wheels are correct Cadillac wheels, and I will include a 4th if desired. All four doors open and shut, hood opens fine, has power trunk option (disconnected).  Chrome trim on right rear door is removed but included.  Windshield has a few star chips, and one vent and one side window are cracked.  I have not cleaned the bumpers and chrome - to preserve "the look" - but they would polish up nicely if you're into that.Summary:  This is a very original/stock turn-key driving project car, with great patina, that could still use a little love.  I have the old title for it, and/or I can write you a Bill of Sale... it's been parked so long it's not in the DMV system anyway.  International buyers welcome - car is located very close to the Port of Oakland, and I can deliver there.  Questions and test drives are welcome!
