1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 L78 Convertible, Extremely rare car one of only a handful of documented examples known to exist, (1 of 8 known, 6 manual and 2 automatics). Originally sold new at Fox Chevrolet Inc., Munising, Michigan. Concours nut and bolt restoration done to national level standards and restored back to its original configuration. Finished in its original colors of Forrest green with black interior and top with white super sport stripes. The restoration was performed by MCR in Eau Clarie, WI. with final assembly by Darrin Rupple of Big Lake, MN. Long term ownership with some owner history and documented by its factory original buildsheet (copy in photo section but original is with car) and its NCRS data shipping report. Extremely correct car with lots of factory options including: cowl induction, bucket seats, console, Am/8track, gauge package, power windows, power top, power steering, power disc brakes (front), tilt wheel, 3.55 posi traction rear and more. Powered by a correct dated "854" casting L78 solid lifter engine with correct part number and dated components backed to a th400 automatic transmission both professionally rebuilt to factory specs. with original correct dated parts. This Chevelle SS L78 is extremely well restored and in museum quality throughout! Never shown and the first time offered since its restoration it is ready for its national show debut.
